EFCC has no judicatory right to arrest him since the case is already in the competent court of law... pained yellowbar ass licker stop ur tribal game 5 Likes |

Buhari must go! It is a no brainer that he is using EFCC to settle political scores. He appears not to care whether Nigeria goes up in flames because of his irresponsible government. 3 Likes |

Good job by the Senate. That is how it should be. The Senate and House of Representatives should help checkmate this Buhari administration's acts of impunity. It is telling that the EFCC Director of Legals could not answer the simple question from Senator Dino Melaye about whether the EFCC had any warrant of arrest. They obviously don't have any. It would be interesting to see if they can produce copies of any invitation they claim to have sent to Innoson Chairman. They will be caught in their lies. This is obviously a civil matter but some knuckle heads at GTBANK decided to go the typical Nigerian way to intimidate Innoson Chairman by illegally involving the EFCC. It would also be interesting to see how they will prove that thousands of thugs beat them when they went to arrest the Chairman (without arrest warrant, of course). The EFCC have set themselves up for embarrassment. And they will pay. GTBANK will also pay the Chairman the huge amount they illegally deducted from him (which they admitted). They have met their match. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Trying not to be bias about this whole issue GTB are just trying to cut corners and win albeit they are culpable.... A client came with fake documents to obtain loan, you grant the loan to the client...He pays off the loan then discovers you have collected above the money agreed upon... you come out to say even the documents he submitted initially was forged hence you cant pay back the excess you collected from him...and the story goes skkkkkrrrr kpaaa 5 Likes |

Nigerian Police Force (NPF), Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). We do not have any intelligence unit in Nigeria where crime is thoroughly investigated. |

clarocuzioo: Allowing fraud to stand alarm foreign investors more. The only solution for crime is punishment that fit the crime according to the law of the land. Simple! Big companies are the lifeblood of South Korea. They still try and sentence chairmen and owners of those companies, including Samsung! So you are saying another set of rules and laws should be in operation for rich and powerful? |

He deposited papers to clear the goods with the bank but when the goods came, he forged papers and cleared the goods without informing the bank. Bank reported to Police. mfm04622: Both GTB and Innoson are culpable in this together, when you get to see the proper details of the transaction you will understand better, but here we are concerned about the businesses not shutting down as people will loose their jobs and add to the already saturated labour market, that should be the concern of the govt. Besides the case is already in court, why will EFCC dabble into a case that is already In court, why not GTB present their fake documents as evidence against Innoson in court. 1 Like |

mfm04622:No wonder Nigeria is still a country of illiterates with degrees where every thing is driven in reverse. That’s why soldiers do police work here and DSS do the work of police, Civil Defence who are constitutionally mandated to protect government installations and property do also police work. Please why are you grouping EFCC into the collective umbrella of “law enforcement “. Their constitutional requirement is money laundering and 419. Collecting money with a supposed false document is under the purview of the financial crime unit of the Nigeria police. The question is why is EFCC stalling a matter already in the court? Why is GTB not tendering these fake documents before the same court? Why have not these fake documents surfaced all the while innoson dragged GTB to court. Why is it after the courts awarded a stupendous sum of money to innoson that these fake documents suddenly surfaced? Keep oscillating between the mud of denial and ignorance. Nigeria needs a breather. Innoson has already sued EFCC and his lawyer has smartly said the contention between GTB and innoson is not within EFCC’s authority. Someone doesn’t just want to part with his money. 4 Likes 1 Share |
