Yes, very sensible way to approach it. Let him do that in addition.

Opotuniti:
Thank you for your reply.

I will use the LOE as advised.
I also plan to submit my naira

PLEASE CHECK IF I AM INLINE
I suggested to him to give me an affidavit and notarize the one page statement of his account showing where I sent the naira to him. Does this make sense if I attach affidavit/notary from him acknowledging the error he made?

I am seeing CIC format for drafting POF. Kindly send the link, i guess it must have been treated before.
Is there a particular format I should take note of?

Thanks

Police clearance...wait and get (1hr) 7k grin
mosbiod:

1. Yes

2. Most UK banks do not give letters for POF, I am in UK as well my bank (Llyods Bank) told me they can only give some stamped documents to me which could cover some of the things CIC is requesting but not a direct letter to CIC simply written for the POF purpose. I have email conversations with the bank's Complaint team and their reply which I attached to my LOE as this will convince the VO that I at least try to get the bank letter in their format. You could do that with your bank too if they are not giving the letter in the format.

3. I think you should wait as someone advised.

4. Office Moshood did my Nigerian PCC in 2days for about 8k.. he's reliable.

Congratulations to all the ITA recipients. I have something bordering my mind. I am to resume in fall for my MSC in USA with funding. My PPR is likely to be around that time as PEBC is awaiting transcript from my alma mata.
I want to go for my MSC by fall because of the funding. When the PR call arrives, is it possible for me to go to Canada to finalise the PR thing for just a week and then return to US to finalise my study? Or must I stay for certain period of time in Canada before being able to travel out for study and other stuffs?
I need your submissions.

Current PR Residency Obligation is merely 730 days (two years) within the first five years following landing.

Thus, technically, a new PR could land and soon leave and not return to Canada for nearly three years.

You don’t need money order anymore you can pay online since Monday. And you can do the fingerprinting on your own. Go on the Identity checks website and print the form. I’d advise you to print 2 forms and fingerprint on both in case the FBI can’t read one or more of your prints. You are to attach your confirmation email(from after you paid) and then send that to WestVirginia. You will have filled the application form online and paid before the fingerprint.

Ofifi:
Good morning and congratulations to all those that received ITAs..it will all end in praise for every single one of us in this journey together. Please I need help with obtaining police report from the US.

1.How does one get the money order
2. What's the best way to send it to the US?
3. Can I do the fingerprinting on my own or I have to go to a nearby police station?

Please help.... kiss kiss kiss

It is on the place holder, if you do not have it, explain that your employer does not issue.

However, people should not start bombarding me with 'I did not submit it and I got PPR', no one is saying you cannot get PPR without paystubs, I 'only pointed it out to Newmum so that people reading the thread do not feel that it is not a required document.

Thank you all.

Fantastic remark for the family happytbaby. Thank you.

2. I think there is a required format shared somewhere here. Just check from page 0
3. I suggest you wait until you have the baby so as to avoid the delay that'll arise as a result of having to add another family member after submission

The forms for male and female are different as was rightly said. The one downloadable online is for the males as the female one is pink, however both can be scanned and emailed to one upon request so its not a big deal.

Good day my E-fam. Please I tried processing my transcript through a staff at the school's Records office. The attached is what I got as a transcript.
Can I send this to WES? Is this what LASU's transcript looks like?
Please if anyone has a sample of LASU's transcript,i would like to see what it looks like.
He claimed he had sent it for two weeks now but WES didn't receive anything. I applied and paid online which is the normal procedure, and only tipped him for processing not minding the strike.

I need your submissions.

How long will you be away for your MSc? Well, to be eligible for a Canadian citizenship, you have to (among other requirements) spend a minimum cumulative period of 3 of 5 years living in Canada as a PR. Sure you can go back to the US as soon as you receive your Canadian PR card but do you think you would be able to meet that criterion while studying for a funded MSc program outside Canada? Mind you, chances are that you'd be stripped of your PR status if/when it is probable that you cannot meet that requirement for citizenship eligibility so you need to thread courteously.

Two things:
- You may choose to rescind this application, go for your masters and come back to continue afterwards. Afterall, ECA is usually valid for a maximum of 5 years so you'd still use it if you so desire.
- Reject the offer of admission, go ahead with your PR application and continue with your academic pursuit (in Canada) as a permanent resident.

The choice is yours to make finally sha. These are only my thoughts and I believe some other persons would chip in a thing or two

Mcstan, you pointed out that 2 of 5 years, even though I think it's 3 of 5 years, whichever case it is, it means he can go to Canada to activate his residency status and then go back to the US to complete his studies. After his studies, he can then settle down in Canada and still get citizenship.

@ original poster, Google "short landing Canada" for more information. Actually you can eat your cake and still have it.

I paid 322.05CAD or there about, mind u it could be lesser based on the choice of type of delivery you choose for yourself (for your personal hardcopy). Mine was delivered by UPS to my house address.

Yes dear, 3 of 5. That must've been an oversight. Thanks for pointing it out.
I do not think the funding college/body/organization would be that patient enough with her to put the program on hold for a whole 3 years. That's why I thought she rescinds it in my first suggestion. It'll be a good thing though if the admission can be put on hold for her sake.

The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and
if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).

I no see payslip for here o.

Emm let's assume the position being used by the PA to claim points was for 3 years and PA changed role to another position for only 4 months before resigning from the company and not claiming any points with the 4 months position as it's a different NOC, should the employment reference letter have the two positions or just the 3 years used to claim points

PS: PA had 2 different supervisors for the 2 positions and not interested in claiming more points with the 4 months position but wishes to include it under personal history.

That was why I asked how long he/she would be away for the study. Many of such programs in the US run as MSc+PhD and usually takes longer than 3 years. I do not know which category his/hers belongs hence my suggestion.
