Good news for head chop victims in Nigeria. You can now bring your head to Kenya for re-attachment.

Kenyan doctors at the country's biggest referral hospital have successfully reattached a hand that was cut off in an accident. This one was done for free cus the victim was Kenyan! Bring those heads and remember to store the head nicely as the docs advice exactly that.

Oh and dont forget the body grin

hehe grin grin the moment you realize the victim would not make it to Kenya since the plane door can just open midflight. You guys are so incredible you even use ladders to board planes like you're going for repair work grin Naija OOOO

You need your own thread where you can attack your 'Ojingaists' as long as you wish. Just give it a nice name and wait for your medicine there. They will be happy to deal with you. The people here arent interested, in fact if you are smart you should have read the mood. Just a piece of advise, if you never put yourself in the shoes of the 'other' side, you will forever remain an agitated man.

Whatever dude!

Where in Nigeria did you live and what are your criterias/parameters for judging? can't you see this arguement is meaningless and long overdue?

These new guys on the thread are something else, this thread is 1500 pages long, that should tell you there's almost nothing that hasn't been posted or discussed here. This thread is now for the Kenyans, to discuss their internal political problems in Kenya and also post beautiful pictures of their country as they do that, it has ceased being a thread for debate a long time ago.

I know the argument is long overdue but, i'll just like to educate my fellow Nigerians..
Nigeria has the potential for a lot more but the political class won't let it be.
First criteria is quality of life. The quality of life is better by far in Kenya.
Electricity: Power was stable during my four months stay, no single outage except on one occasion when we were given notice for routine maintenance.

Transportation: Matatus are cheap 10, 20 shillings for the same distance that will cost you 150 - 250 in Lagos,
also very comfortable 3 a seat compared to 4 a seat in lagos,
very easy to move around at any time of the day.
I used to wonder why transportation in Kenya was cheap despite paying more money for fuel per litre and the high costs of clearing vehicles
from the port in Mombassa.
I came to one conclusion greed.

Education: Check University rankings, take some Nigerians through the Kenyan public school system they will turn out a lot better.

Orderliness: you don't see Kenyans jumping queue anyhow.

ok, but the comparison is meaningless, for example when you say education you may judge based on rankings from webometrics, some may find that too simplistic. Also Nigeria is a big country and far more populated than Kenya. l do not live in Lagos for instance, but my kind of person abhors the life in Lagos, while a host of my family members love Lagos, and it goes on and on.
For infrastructure, a sizeable part of the Kenyan population have constant electricity(though they produce less megawatts in general than Nigeria) also because of this, there's a better ease of doing business in Kenya. that's as far as it goes.
What else do you have in Nairobi in terms of infrastructure? the rail from mombassa to Nairobi shouldn't be compared to the ongoing massive rail projects across Nigeria.
Whatever the Kenyans have posted here in terms of beauty, structures or architectures, they are not in short supply across Nigeria as well.
ln summary, it is not as simple as saying this one is better than this one. Kenya is a much smaller country than Nigeria in terms of population and also in size, though this is not an excuse, it is a viable point, and thus the comparison sometimes would always be fruitless.

My apologies, the thread's topic still a bit misleading, can the thread be renamed to reflect the changes and avoid debates down the line?

lt's not a lie at all, but l don't know why l just find this comparison and arguement irritating, maybe it would make more sense to me on a Kenyan website and not a Nigerian website.

I agree with you that Its not as simple as saying one is better but I was specific about infrastructure and education.
Those beautiful places in Nigeria you see, how many is as a result of governments direct effort, whereas the pictures from the Kenyan side show communal facilities, not someone's private property.
A house/hotel is not infrastructure,
Education: I for one don't rank Universities based on its Webometrics ranking. I look at things like Research output, Quality of research, and sometimes the number of international students in the institution. the public institutions in Kenya are way ahead in that regards as at now.
I am very excited about Convenant Univerisity though, their research output is impressive.

Like you I also abhor life in Lagos despite having lived most of my life there, commuting 5 hours a day is not easy, i am considering moving to a city like Ibadan, Akure or Ilorin, Problem is getting a job in those cities..
All that said, the opportunity in Nigeria is enormous,we just need to get things right.

Thats true , The main reason i do this is to let Nigerians know we can demand more from our government. Countries with fewer resources are providing better for their citizens, let us all stop settling for less.
it is also kind of weird they are discussing their internal political issues on a Nigerian Website.
Heard of the sad news closing three Stations following the swearing in of the "Peoples President". Nigeria was in that same situation 1994.

Yah l get you, Nigerians are actually demanding of their Government, just that little or nothing has been done still. Nigeria has been on a downward lane in education and almost everything else since the military rule in 1983. Even now with democracy, things are not really as they should be and of course the sentiments online already shows that Nigerians want more, and it is a well known fact that the country is punching far below her weight

Apparently Kikuyu people of central Kenya are one mixed lot. They are mixed mostly with their fellow bantus like masai, kamba ,meru ,taita among others but also with cushites an Nilotes like luos and kalenjins . Thats why its hard to pinpoint a true representative of a kikuyu. Some are tall while others are short. Others are also very dark while others are very light (Wazungu wa mt kenya grin)...Which brings to question that maybe Kikuyu1 has relatives from those areas he keeps on hating...You know it can happen cool
Stop pretending to be so knowledgeable you sound so stupid. First of all Maasai are Eastern nilotes not Bantu.
The only people kikuyus are mixed with are maasai, Kambas and older cushitic peoples. Other tribes you have mentioned we have barely made any contact with. After years of political upheaval intermarriages have dropped. Lightskin is indigenous and not a product of European contact. Tall height is common among kikuyus and it is well known it comes from maasai. Do not mention our tribe again.

@mtis you are so pathetic seek help.
Only about one percent of couples in Nairobi intermarry the rest of the country is conservative and strictly endogamous. Most Kenyans never leave their district. You sound like you suffer from major inferiority complex, people who get excited about inter-mixing with others are so lame.
You don't sound Kenyan, I see many like you on forums these days, you think you are an expert on Kenya because of what you've read online. Grow up.
