He should have donated the money to people who really need it like known charity organizations that take care of children. The military is very corrupt and steal enough money. Those two jeeps will be stolen by their bosses for personal use or sold!! |

Nigerian Government need to stop all these superficial donations from a private citizen or state Governors to the Federal Government Departments or agencies. Such unconventional donations raise eyebrows and negative attention. In most cases, it is another form of disguised bribery that has been declared to the public. Which comes with some hidden agenda to seek undue gain from that department or government agencies. Nigerian taxpayers and good citizen should be concerned that why is the annually allocated budget not catering for that department and what is the relevance of the donation from the so-called private donor. Personally, all bribes disguised as charitable donations are very shameful to the Nigeria Miltary or any Nigerian Government agencies to accept. Period. A charitable or political donation could be considered a bribe if it is given or received: • with the intention of influencing someone to act improperly, or • as a reward for having acted improperly 1 Like |

What a waste of money (if this isn't about political patronage) These 'donations' won't make Nigeria safer. They won't even help the Army top brass make better decisions. They'll just be converted to the personal use of some Army Ogas. I mean, this is a known fact, so imagine my surprise to see some Nairalanders here lambasting other sensible citizens for being 'negative'. |

Eshinwaju: See this one...why is it that any little thing, you "people" will start stroking your small peepee with the phrase "IPOB"..please I don't have time for your immature gibberish...if you want proof of my assertions, use the internet. I got better things to do with my time than banter words with some south westerner somewhere in an unmapped geographical enclave trying to start an e-war. If you want war, go and join opc in their new "threat" against Fulani herdsmen. |
