Living in Nigeria/America where you will be certainly ridiculed and discriminated against for atheism?
Working with religious co-workers (especially a religious boss) who distract from the job with their religious baggage?

I believe there is no god because the null hypothesis starts me from there, and it's up to believers to demonstrate that their god proposition is true.

When anybody can:

2. Provide empirically testable predictions of that god, and show that these predictions are true

3. Show that this god is more parsimonious than all other natural explanations

I'll (at least tentatively) accept that a god exists. So far, none of these requirements have come anywhere close to being met, and I can reasonably assert that the proposition of a god existing is likely false.

God is the entity to which the laws of thought appeal for their authority if rational discourse is to be necessarily guided by/based on them.

They are programmed to believe that if they doubt their holy book it is Satan trying to deceive them and if they question their so called words of their gods they are going to hell, so they dare not question or doubt. Pity they don't see their preachers have replaced their gods. But how could they? Did they not replace their god with a messiah too anyway?

What is in the bible? A talking snake, a piece of fruit confers knowledge, a talking donkey, witches, magic tricks called miracles, demons cause disease, creator of the universe coming to a tiny speck of dust in the universe to be killed by three nails, zombies get up out of their graves and walk around Jerusalem, ghost stories, etc.

Do note that this is the www. Evidence is key. In my post, I said I have not read his work and showed you what I found with a vaxx like caveat, "sounds like he was a believer!". If I had found he was an atheist, I would have to be stupid to wish to intentionally hide the fact!

Do note that you are meant to provide evidence for more atheists committing suicide than believers. The mere fact that there are so few atheists is sufficient to debunk that idea. I've said it before and will repeat it here. If all the atheists committed suicide, they still would not be as many as the believers who commit suicide. Same as you would find more believers in prison. Its not because more believers commit crimes or suicide, but just that there are more believers, period!
