My landlord is telling everyone that by 10pm we should off our generator, I need advice because I am not comfortable who has experience it before...

If your Gen is the noisy type then I must say you need to do something about it.....But if not then your landlord is over stepping his boundary..... cool

While I was there... I had same issue with my landlady.

Met some people and they confirmed it's normal. Most of the time, it is an instruction passed from the vigilante in the area. According to them it is for security.
