Airtel all the way. I am among the lucky subscribers who get double bonus. I subscribe for 10gb with just 2,500 naira. No other network can beat that.

Edit: for those asking for code, dial *144#. If your sim is among the lucky selected, you would see something like this...
Airtel is only good in Lagos, but in Ogun I am presently, it is thrash. MTN na sabi

airtel all the way...here in Benin City. am enjoying my airtel now

when i try glo unto their cheap data for 4gigg for 1000 naira i nearly cry. God protect me from cheap things this year.
The only network where signal can go for about 3 days,
the only service whereby if you on your data connection you will have to wait for 5 minutes before browsing.
The only network where there will be signal in your toilet, corner of your room and beside kitchen cabinet only..
glo internet speed is slower than injured snail
you might give your life to Christ before you finish downloading a porn movie with glo
and now self i even hear say glo don reduce their data. make thunder fire them
I remember those days common to make front page for nairaland go dey hard me because of glo useless slow network

but now with airtel i dey make front page anyhow

9 mobile are the best.

In terms of reliability and data speed they crush the opposition.

Glo are good for phone calls but their data is terrible.

MTN are below average when it comes to both data and calls.
Glo is useless for data and calls. MTN is far better than Glo in that aspect. I have never used 9mobile, so I don't know about them.

You guys are not serious at all. MtN runs the best 4g LTe internet unlike the others that runs a scam 4g network. MTN is the best for me joor in speed, reliability and even cheaper calls. The only thing is that you man not use their monthly 1.5gig up-to a week
MTN is the best. But data drains too fast.

Most of them lie a lot to let you buy data from that network. They are probably marketers.

Airtel-Etisalat-Glo-Mtn-Ntel-Smile-Spectranet-Swift?

Despite the various data plans advertised by the data providers in Nigeria, their prices of data, data caps and poor network connections are still nothing to write home about.Glo data cap reduction is still fresh in our minds despite their poor network.

As for me, I subcribe to both ntel and mtn for light streaming/browsing(phone)

ntel unlimited night plans for heavy downloads /streaming.

Mtn night plans for light works.

So which of them is your favourite?

probably depends on ur location
like my location
GLO. is hot,fast and cheap
MTN. is hot fast but costly

Airtel for me, enjoying my airtel 100% double data.
Glo is the worst for me, when you subscribe you won't be able to use up 1% of the data. Maybe only those in Lagos and Abuja that enjoy Glo.

for me na ETISALAT o, its costly but they have the lowest Latency Rate in Nigeria, followed by MTN, Then Airtel and Finally Glo

Latency Rate = Network Delay, Not SPEED.....

EG::: Imagine all mobile networks are commercial bus!!

Etisalat: Ojuelegba To Ogba - Direct, No Stopping For Any Bus Stop

MTN: Ojuelegba To Ogba - Stop for maryland, Stop For Computer Village (2 Stops)

Airtel: Ojuelegba To Ogba - Stop For Abati Barracks, Stop For Empire, Stop For Railway, etc

Glo: Ojuelegba To Ogba - Push To Start, Speed To Obanikoro... Then Anoda Danfo Push You To Anthony Before Engine Start, etc etc etc

grin this yhur analysis na die o. A vry good one though but etisalat too get deir own. Runs in slow motion at times.

When it comes to internet providers, i really dont put much emphasis on the cost .. whats more important is the speed and reliability and on this note i can confidently say glo is the worst browsing network in nigeria. I once subscribed for glo data plan but after a while of total frustration i removed the sim card which still had 900 mb and broke it in anger. Whats the point of having all the data at a cheap rate but cant still use it.

I agree with you. 9mobile never fails as long as their network reception is in ur area. Neva fails

It accumulates, if renewed before/on expiry. But you don't get more than 30 days validity period after renewal. Eg. If you have unused 2gb and you subscribe for 10gb today before the 2gb expiration date, you get 12gb for 30 days only, no matter the the outstanding validity days of the previous 2gb. That's my experience with the plan.

2) can i choose to auto-renew with a lesser or higher package or must it be the current package?

That is very good sir. Please have you tried auto-renewing with a lesser cost package, does it allow that or must d auto-renewal be with the existing package?
Thanks for your quick response, I appreciate.

Yes. I switch between 2,500 and 1,000 depending on my needs and previous accumulated data. There was a month I have upto 4gb unused data one day before expiry date. It won't make sense to buy another 10gb.
