PAJE:
Make sure your health insurance is for a period of 12 full months. Will recommend January to December 2018. I had similar challenge of registering from February to November thats 10 months. If not for the grace of God I would have been denied study permit. The Visa Officer called me to submit 12 months cover within the next 3 days which i did. I have my study permit and just arrived at UCT

Thanks PAJE, I really appreciate you for the timely and practical response. God bless you real good. Thank God you were able to meet up, I will do momentum since Compcare cannot be reversed to January. I guess it is now 4514 Rand

Good afternoon house I will like to make an enquiry. My passport is due to expire on OCT 31st 2018 with a Visa that extends to 2019. I am also likely to travel to Nigeria from SA in May 2018 and also to return back that same period. I will like to know if I can renew my passport while in Nigeria? What are the implications if I do that since I will be coming back to SA? Thanks

Check the website for the necessary requirements and download the application form, it’s in it. My question is how is the crowd traffic at the application office in Lagos presently

Hello Gurus,
Please I need your informed response ASAP.
I have been offered a study permit, thanks to all your questions and answers on this forum.
I want to know if I'll need a health insurance certificate for my wife and daughter before submitting their application for relative visa. Although it is not stated in the requirements, but I want to be sure.
Thanks in anticipation of your prompt response always.

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Diamond1960: 9:46pm On Feb 10, 2018
I believe there are different ways to secure a resident permit. either through temporary permit ( study or work visa etc) OR Permanent permit.
Options are 1. Obtain an admission letter to study in any institution in South Africa 2. Obtain a critical skill permit 3. A critical permit visa is also a gateway to obtain a permanent resident permit in RSA. 4. Lastly, you can convert your visiting Visa to an Asylum permit if you know you dont wanna go back to Nigeria again. Goodluck in your strive in staying in RSA.
