Chaiii, Leicester City shouldn't have beaten Manchester City back ooo, they should have endured the one punch from the bullies, the equaliser provoked the boys, and the bullies flogged them mercilessly.

Nice word!!! But how can making it to the finals when people never believe u would make it out the group stage be heartbreak? Forgetting that Morocco is the home of the club champions of Africa. Just keep ur eye on Boboye's Plateau United and Maikaba's Akwa United, good coaches who know how to get the best out of their players.
Accept it or not bro, that CHAN team were undeservedly the most fortunate side during the tournament, especially in the knockout phase . Struggling profusely to convert begging chances that kept springing up perpetually at a numerous frequency, subjecting Nigerians to series of excessive tension. Coupled with their utter inability to conceal their displays of amateurism game by game. Before deservedly being exposed and afflicted with a 4-0 pummelling in the final,. Bringing embarrassment to our dear country which have been enjoying its rightful global reputation of being an African football powerhouse on a high right before the "incident".

One could appropriately liken them to a once high-flying delusional impostor being caught and disgracefully exposed before a whole realm and get vigorously battered in an exorbitant manner.

Calm down bro.

That is how we roll here. Most times in an argument you have to pull the weight against 4,5 at times all members of the thread.

If you make statements about a player be it positive: some will say you are over hyping the player or be it negative: some will even call you a hater.

hahaha... Arsenal have done worse to their fans. But they keep having faith in the team. That's the beauty of game.

I'm only following the NPFL to know If they are progressing or not.

Akwa United and Heartland are presently on an unbeaten run that has stretched 7-8games (that's +ve). I waiting to see how they'll fair in the next 5games.

U can use all the SAT grammar that u want but that will never change the fact that the boys did great to make it that far especially with the coach they had. I don't think a country that has failed to qualify for AFCON proper twice in a row should be embarrassed by gravity. Disgrace is losing to SA in Uyo, our local boys losing to Morocco is something that was expected.

why on earth will I sit glued to the TV to watch some naughty kind of football....
something really need to be done about that league......
just take a look at how the Morocco team played....that's the result of a functional league
My man you don't need to be tired for some people cos they asked simple question about fixtures of Nigeria teams representing them at CAF competitions.

If you cannot watch it others will do and doesn't mean they don't know football or they don't know what they are doing,so let them continue watching it.

We cannot have the same attitudes towards Nigeria club sides, so those who are passionate about the teams, pls leave them and let them be watching it like that,it's our own and the league must grow so that our national teams would always come out stronger.

I.know you watched naught football Leicester played yesterday just in the name of foreign clubs, pls let's continue supporting our own even if you are tired but those that are not tired should be encourage not discouraged.

The sad truth is Nacho is that lazy kind of player who finds it a bit arduous to improve on his dismal workrate and work on his inabilities. And these things are causing him stagnation of some sort or even drawing him back.

thanks.

my expectations for our teams in the CAF club competitions today.

Akwa united v Hawks of Gambia. naturally I'll give Akwa a straight winning here with multiple goals at least 3 goals their league form is very impressive and should be enough for a comprehensive victory. Hawks Ave played 5 times dx year and are yet to lose winning 2 and drawing the other 3. it must be said that the 2 winnings they have arrived on their home ground. and they know how to score too. verdict:
Akwa united 3-1 win

Plateau united v Eding sports of Cameroon. Clash of the Champions, the league champions of Cameroon and of Nigeria. apart from the home advantage of Plateau united they are also inform on the local scene just behind Akwa who top the league and their last result a 5-0 winning over Sunshine stars speaks volume about their performances so far this season. Eding sports are in disarray and should crumble in Jos, the Cameroonian league starts today also but they will be in Nigeria for Caf assignment. they v not played at all dx year so they will be fresh. their manager has been suspended and the caretaker manager will lead them. I expect a plateau united win maybe a 2-0 victory. verdict: Plateau united win

Real Bamako v MFM. MFM doesn't v Caf experience and against Bamako who have been in the CAF scene for a long time, they would fancy a score draw. Real Bamako themselves v not been convincing as champions league campaigners but with the form of MFM on the league where they are still seeking their first away points and unconvincing in their home wins so far, they might just lose to Real in Mali. A draw will be like a win for MFM especially a score one, even a 2-1 win for real Bamako will have MFM feeling optimistic about the second leg in Lagos. Verdict: Real Bamako win or draw, expected scoreline 2-1/2-1 or 0-0

Chief Icon4s is right to say what he said. This is a sports thread and reference point on NL on anything "Super Eagles". You don't expect the rest of us to stand aside and watch absurd comments being dripped in the name of opinion.

I have said it before and I will say it again... The problem we have as humans is this nonsensical sugar coated talk of everyone having an opinion. I believe in freedom of speech... But that freedom of speech must he backed with sense and logic. We cannot just allow just anyone to come spill baseless and absurd comments here in the name of having opinion.

We are a house of analysts here and we must be holistic about it devoid of subtle bias. I know that anyone who finds something wrong with Chief Icon4s' comment certainly has a hidden bias against Nacho too and is only subtly being diplomatic about it and also enjoy when some others come out to make absurd comments on Nacho not being good enough or Macho being useless and all..... Back up your statement with facts. You saw how even in the face of facts people on this thread still maintained that Nacho is useless... All they have is their absurd beliefs which are nonsensical and cannot be reckoned with. No facts, no stats to back it up... It is all bollocks and we dont welcome bollocks in here. That is why we will shoot down any adsurd comment uttered without facts or figures... It is that simple.

And nobody called anybody names here or did that happen? Why do you lots love to bring up stuffs that never happened. Always taking the predictable route of "don't call someone names". Abi did any of the fellas who took down Liedetector's lies call him names? Or you just adding that line for cheap likes?

Look... I believe in saying things as they are. No need to bring in extraneous stuffs. Liedetector dropped his comment on this sports thread and if he thinks his " opinion" was going to go unchallenged then he is living in a dreamworld...

Uhmmmm... Liedectector... Welcome to the one thread where you cannot just spill stuffs without backing it up. If you have a problem with Nacho... Then be ready to go thru me also with facts and figures because I have the stats with me to show that your comments were not only absurd but also untruthful. It is not wrong if you can just admit that you just dont fancy a player. If you can do tha, then the better for all of us.... That way we know why you dey talk say Nacho is not good enough.... Lol... And not to be hiding under the umbrella of "I am just stating an opinion" to now make your point valid and protected from being detected for what it truly is..... A hate speech. Nothing personal.

Welcome to the house..... wink

P.S: A hate speech is defined as a comment dropped to downgrade a player even when all known stats, figures, top rave reviews and opinions in the football world contradict your comment on a player. Finito.

darkelf:

Elyte89 A big fan of Nacho? Looooollll.... Elder sir Kog45... Abeg I fear you have made a huge faux pas here. Maybe he did a good job of disguising his views on Nacho becos he never truly came out but his bias was never lost on me. I have known since a long time now that elyte89 actually supports the anti-nacho views but he does his in jokingly and diplomatically...

Nothing can be hidden here ooooo... Hahahahahahahahaha.... I read between the lines beautifully. wink

Elyte89 have never been balanced on Nacho issues. Never. And a balanced poster? How? because he drops jokes? He only drops jokes and hardly contributes to issues here so how is he balanced biko? He hardly speaks... And now I guess he has found a topic he can now go full throttle on any time of the week.... "Iheanacho" cheesy

He hardly contributes much to major discussions here and now he has found a cause to follow....

"To voice out against Nacho"

Come on, it is only those who are naive that will be fooled by what he wants you all to believe that he has always been a big fan of Nacho. "A big fan" of Nacho won't change overnight and start being Anti-Nacho... This shows what he has been all along. Case closed on that one.

So plssss when you think of "very high" balanced posters next time Elder Sir.... Plsss consider Boss Joseph1013, Sir Tbaba1234, and Chief Icon4s. Thank you.
