It’s not compared to similar types of food like lamb, chicken doner with salad. Some would offer doner with chips at cheaper prices...but then again, he is special and suya is special, there are too many kebab and doner outlets at every corner. Competition between them affects prices. I’ve met a lady whose husband worked in Lagos. She was mad about suya and asked if I knew anywhere she could get it in the UK. I directed her to Obalende suya in Peckham.
