Compliments Captain, General and prospective officers in the house.

It is said that, it is curiosity that killed the monkey or so. While i applaud Abiodun for his research and intel skills (you will make a fine intelligence officer), i am quite disappointed at the way he channeled it and subtly accused General of trying to attract vain glory to himself.

Before i began to directly address my questions to General, i observed him for sometime and was impressed at how informed he was about the army and how well he did justice to our many burning questions. Even if I had not been privileged to interact with officers from the 3 different officers cadre, i still wouldnt need a soothsayer or clairvoyant to tell me that General is a cracked officer who spent 5years of his life serving jobs at the revered NDA site while most of us flexed in our various universities.

True, i have seen folks in Nairaland create alternate accounts to corroborate claims of their main acct for monetary or egocentric gains. But the pertinent question is, why would General want to do that? To what end? Look at it logically, If he was yet to join the army, that would have been a different ball game altogether (then we could suspect he probably had intentions to organize a fake recruitment racket). But then, from his insider and profound information, he has proven beyond doubts that he was already in the system. What then would he stand to gain if he does that We have intelligent minds here, let us learn to pick our fights because Nairaland never forgets

As for Bintushop. It is really sad how people hide behind faceless forums and deride others. If you meet most of us here in real life, you wont dare speak while we speak. Abi when you went to visit General, he gave you just 5k and you came here drooling and singing praises like a gateman his oga dashed old clothes. What if General decided to deal with you for commanding him here? Nothing would have happened.

General, it was nice having you here. I, for one, have learnt a lot from your contributions here. You have certainly made your marks on Nairaland and in years to come, people will continue to be enlightened by your posts. I wont ask you to continue to stay with us. I think you were beginning to become too familiar with us (which is not very wise in a faceless forum like this), and familiarity is the perfect recipe to breed contempt. You even should have left earlier, when Bintushop was displaying the madness his village people plagued him with.

All in all, we appreciate the little time you spent with us. God willing, i will pay you compliments in my khaki someday. Anytime you come into Lagos, i would be honoured to host you in any of the barracks you lodge in. Please take down your pictures, you have already made your point

Summarily, to my fellow army aspirants (Abiodun, veraiyke, ugo etc), let us keep our morale roof-breaking. The time is shorter than we imagine. An arguable source said the form will be out by March and board will be around August or so. Let us keep getting prepared. As for the languages ish, he told me that the clause is only for serving officers.

yesterday I went to Naval base to see a close friend. on my way out of the base I saw a Naval officer, I approached him and began to ask him questions about the navy. first I asked him how he got into navy he said thru NDA. I asked him the highest rank a dssc officer can attain in the nigerian navy he said it depends. that a dssc officer can convert to regular in the navy. if am interestd I should get the form and let him know. he will guide me on how to convert from dssc officer to regular. I told him am not interestd that my mind bleeds for the army ssc. he gave me his number and told me whatever info I will want to know concerning the navy I should call him. so pals, if u have any questions to ask or u want to know any info about the navy u just drop ur question(s) i'll make sure it gets to him. and i'll deliver his reply back to u. thanks. #BeYourBrotherKeeper

GenAnsahCinC may probably be a Man-O-War or a recruit (Non commissioned officer) trying to convert (Becoming commissioned) for him to have graduated from RSUST (Rivers State University of Science and Technology)
Most non commissioned officers specially the young ones like to deceive civilians that they are commissioned officers reason being that most civilians don't know the difference.

A friend of mine came to live with me and claimed he was a cadet. he told me good stories about NDA, I was very ignorant concerning issues of military at the time. but in 2016 I went for SSC board interview in NDA old site telling everyone that I had a friend that passed out of NDA. after the interview I returned and saw the insignia of a corporal on him via his whatsapp I then called him because by now I know the difference, he only said "Na long story".
He is with the NA special forces now.

so this GenAnsahCinC may Just be a Man-O-War or a recruit trying to convert on none at all.

There is also the possibility that he is really who he said he is, you can't tell what circumstances can do.

i checked out GeAnsaCinC profile and, honestly, as much as i want i want to disbelieve this whole thing, the evidences are glaring and almost indisputable.

AbiodunAlasa, since he has invited you over, kindly consider honouring his invitation, but go along witj some of your hard core friends, incase of an eventuality. Alternative, you could talk him into choosing a location that is neutral to you both.

Also, GenAnsaCinC should kindly consider honouring the invitation of one Oga Majek here who asked him to comr and visit him at a barracks close to Abacha barracks there.
