AutosBay:I always appreciate you for all your information on this forum but sometimes you're partially biased supporting npower team, is not every post from npower you will be encouraging, you don't need to support/celebrate mediocrity. What do you want to learn/gain from teaching when you're posted to school, so after 2 years you will establish your own school from 30k per month abi! which is not enough for feeding, talkless of transportation and miscellanies, some are even family men/women with no alternative. What I'm trying to say in short is that, we beneficiaries, should cry for PERMANENCE or GRANT to establish on our own after said 2-year program, otherwise people will come out to the streets again and become nuisances. Honestly, I give kudos to this administration for this scheme because it has not happened in the history of Nigeria, and this scheme has turned around the life of some people and helped some families. Moreover, to reduce unemployment in this country, you have to start from somewhere and this is a good practical start for any administration that might come into power in future and it will always be remembered in history. Nigeria have enough fund to cater for this and even more, in one accord, let's clamour for PERMANENCE even it is not been promised. God will answer our prayers. 8 Likes |

N-power Lagos JANUARY STIPEND: VOLUNTEERS CONFRONT N-POWER LAMENT NON PAYMENT OF JANUARY STIPEND AS NEW MONTH ENTER DAY 11 | CNR As Npower volunteers across the nation continue to lament over persistent delay of their January stipends, managers of the Federal Government social investment programme has refused to offer any explanation for the continued delay of the last month's pay. A check on their various social media channels reveal that their last update of information to their followers was on the 5th of February at 10:03 am. The information on their official Facebook page on the said date was about N-Power Build training manual. Also, a check on their Instagram account show that last post on the platform was on the same 5th of January and on the same N-Power Build training manual. Their Twitter handle also carry same message on the same date. But a look at the comment section of the last post on their different platforms show that many existing beneficiaries were worried about the continued delay of January stipend. Most of the existing beneficiaries who commented expressed displeasure at the delay and demand explanation from managers of the scheme regarding the status of the January stipend. One of the existing beneficiaries, Christian Charles who commented through their Instagram account wondered why N-Power treat issue of beneficiaries' monthly stipend with levity, insisting that beneficiaries deserve explanation on why their January stipends was still hanging. "N-Power it appears you people only see us as beggars who have no dignity and respect. But I want to tell you that we are not what you think we are. Today is the fifth day of a new month and you have not said anything on the delay of our last month's stipend. Mind you that we are not beggars. We do the work and deserve our pay as at when due. Another N-Power follower on Instagram, Ormolaphe, said the scheme would soon lose its credibility over the manner they handle beneficiaries stipend. "This programme will lose its credibility if it continue in this manner that people don't get their stipend and preselected beneficiaries don't know their fate. For another beneficiary, Lukman Tambuwal, N-Power has no excuse for continued delay of beneficiaries' stipends. "N-Power, you have no excuse what so ever to delay the beneficiaries stipends. Because it was stated initially before the programme starts, that the money were being included in the budget. How do you want the beneficiaries to make some investments while you are faithfully inconsistent", the volunteer wondered. As of the time of filling this report, N-Power is yet to offer any official explanation on why beneficiaries January stipend is still being withheld. Npower Please NOTE that N-Power has NOT re-opened its website for new applications. You will recall that N-Power just physically verified pre-selected applicants from the 2017 application season in December 2017. The Final Beneficiaries are yet to be announced and fully engaged. Consequently, the information that N-Power has opened its website for new applications is FALSE. We urge Nigerians to disregard the false information and follow our verified N-Power channels for authentic news. |

N-Power Volunteer Network Delay in Npower January 2018 Salary: FG begs volunteers Reports from across the country show that volunteers of the Npower programme are yet to receive their January stipend. The last stipend they received was December 22, 2017. Our findings show that all other federal workers had been paid last week. Normally npower volunteers are paid along side their federal workers counterparts. One of the volunteers who lamented the untimely stipend said, “the money could have been disbursed, but it’s possible the powerful ones are behind the delay for them to benefit from short interest.” At the time of publishing this post the social media channels of the programme have been silent about “why January stipend hasn’t been paid.” An unconfirmed report say N-power stipends are yet to get approval from the appropriate body, social media channels of the programme have remained silent about it though despite series of salary enquiries posted by the concerned beneficiaries until today, February 12. N-power speaks on delayed January stipend | No specific date stated for payment Meanwhile, N-power on Monday apologised to candidates for the delay in payment of their monthly stipends. The scheme said efforts were being put in place to salvage the situation. This information was contained in a statement on its twitter handle. The statement read “Dear 2016 Beneficiaries, We apologize that you are yet to receive your January stipends. We realize that you have been constrained in meeting your monthly obligations and we are sorry. “Your stipend is your right for work done, and we wish to reassure you that we do not take you for granted. “We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We are working assiduously to fix this,” N-power states on its official social media channels The programme pays the sum of N6,000,000,000 monthly (#30,000×200,000 volunteers) if 200,000 volunteers is used for the monthly stipend paid. The APC-led government is also expected to cough out another N9,000,000,000 monthly to another 300,000 young Nigerians, whose names are still been authenticated at the Abuja office of the Social Investment Programme (SIP). Another 300,000 volunteers are on the awaiting list of the 2017 Second Phase of the programme adjudged the first fair FG’s job initiative in the history of recruitment in Nigeria since 1960, when it gained independence. N-power is a temporary job initiative programme of the Federal government that pays #30,000 per month (about $83USD) to its 200,000 first 2016 batch. Delay in workers’ salary isn’t new to the government at state levels, whether the federal government is going to make its Npower beneficiaries have the feel of what state workers pass through, this week will tell. Nigeria is dominated by youth unemployment, and current administration is the first in the country to show interest in youth joblessness. Organisers of the programme have consistently maintained that the initiative is to assist young Nigerians to make savings from their monthly stipend so that they could start small business of their own when the programme comes to an end. N-power lasts for two years. |

N-Power Volunteer Network MTN-Npower #250 Free Airtime: Are you able to make call with it? N-power devices come with free airtime worth of N250 per month plus 750MB to browse the internet and mark attendance. Unfortunate, some volunteers of the 2016 first batch since they receive their tablet device haven’t been able to make call with the free airtime. “ You can only see the free airtime, but if you tried to make call with it you’re told you don’t have enough airtime, ” one of the beneficiaries told us. While some enjoy one out of the two privileges, some get none, “ Since I collected my device I’ve not been able to use the 750MB nor the free airtime, I’ve called customer care severally, sent complaints to n-power with no response up till now, ” another volunteer narrated his ordeal in one of the N-power discussion groups, Npowerng Solutions. Are you able to make call with mtn-npower free N250 airtime? |
