okrote4real:That is just complacency. A country where there is no rule of law. A country infested with corruption. A country with a high cost of living and low standard of living. A country where the average Nigerian tends for himself in every means. A country that lacks basic amenities. A country that keeps recycling old goats for us every 4 years. That is your definition of best country? Lol. The things you see on Nairaland. |

HeyCorleone:Sad to observe that the only thing your father contributed to your conception was a rage driven rape and insemination of his watery sperm on your disease ridden uterus that left you birthed with humanity worst after birth. Your family should be used as sacrifice for the success of this country as that is the only purpose of your ENTIRE FAMILY. Howler monkey!!!!! |

skallion7: Lmao. You can do better son. Seriously. Insulting my parents won't change the fact that Nigeria is shit and we were all unfortunate to be born here. Never. So you had better channel your rage towards your incompetent leaders who, over the years, have only succeeded in driving Nigeria down the line of impoverishment. Isn't it laughable that a country like Nigeria doesn't rate any thing in the world? That even countries that are supposed to be inconsequential to us are overly relevant? All things being equal, why should Dubai attract Nigerians? Why should boys to Malaysia to hustle? These countries that weren't as half as good as Nigerians in the 90s. Now I'm calling the country out for is unfortunateness and the only thing a complacent dimwitted simpleton like you can do is rain curses. And the funny thing is you represent the average Nigerian. That's why our country can't go far. |

Whao the insults and the frankness. I just have to clarify somethings, this no electricity in Nigeria thing, hope non-nigerians know it is unstable electricity because some of them actually believe we live in perpetual darkness and only the rich have money for other sources of electricity supply. Well, where I reside I get 15hrs of electricity per day, not the 24hrs I like every other NIGERIAN would love to boast about but it's an improvement from the alternative 7 to 8 hours I'm used to managing. And FYI I don't live in Abuja, Lagos or any of the nations "so called" top cities. Secondly, is Nigeria a f**ked up country? Yes it is. A lot of Nigerians are running to Ghana not because they're highly developed ( infact Nigeria is more developed in terms of infrastructure than Ghana take it or leave it), but because of their high social development. infact they are rated far higher than Nigeria on the human development index HDI (also take it or leave it) . Ghana's infrastructure is just enough to support it's population. As a nation, Nigeria's infrastructure is grossly overwhelmed and frankly not enough. Our population which separates us from the rest of Africa should have been a thing of pride not the burden it is today. And a large percentage of the problem is because the existing infrastructure cannot support our population. So as much as we all loath this administration, I think it's focus on infrastructure development is commendable. |
