So I picked this lady on this day from Lekki to somewhere in Ajah and during the trip she told me I will have to wait for her and take her to Airport Omo I happy, I told her I will charge her 1k per hour as waiting fee and she was like is that part of Uber terms I said na this is Naija Uber terms are designed for Yankee people and she laughed meanwhile during her conversation While on phone I heard when she said it will be hard to get Uber from her house then I tapped to that. when we got to Ajah I told her Pls be fast ma she said just 30mins, Fam 30mins turns 2 hours and still waiting. Me I Dey check my other phone to see if surge go dey. Like play like play this mad 2.0 surge just came from no where, I just cancelled this trip gbam and screenshot the trip fee and I called her to inform her Uber just ended the trip cos I spend more than 2 hours on this trip already and she came out, I politely explained that stuff and I told her to request me again so I won’t get request from other rider, madam just request and na 2.1 surge she didn’t even know not until we got to Airport, her total fare was around 17k. In whatever we do, no one will tell you everything instead you need to develop yourself more. I don’t joke when it comes to money and I will give you value for your money. Never settle for less. Love you all

Please if you’re a partner and driver on both platform, please answer this question. If you’re offered a job, how much will you be paid to leave driving job?.
Will give my reason for this question once I receive your answers.

Driving full time on Fri, sat and sunday will give you a profit of about 50,000 on uber, no taxify.

You can sleep mon-thurs.

job that pays 200k and above a week might suffice.

I disagree o, you can do it if you are willing. I had jobs worst and more time consuming than driving a cab back in school. For my duration in school, week days I only slept for 3 hours because of work, studied weekends and then try to catch up on my sleep. It did affected my health but I was able to do both through my stay in school. I am very fine today. I wish driving cab was more profitable then.

Man must survive!

Young and ambitious, that’s the beginning of success, the first step is to ask questions, now the 2nd step is to get into it, don’t let anybody discourage you, you can do it and make enough money to help ur self out with ur tuition and pocket money, depending on the work you put in. It all falls on you, I remember meeting a lady Uber driver, and she’s doing far better than the best drivers out there, let the lady be ur ginger.

do people still make money on uber? uber is slavery at its peak and it's so shameful that an international brand that has a good reputation wiĺl decide to cheat it's partners irrespective of the amount spent on fuel, the rates are just ridiculous not too talk of the risk involved, I suggest drivers should boycott uber

Complete slavery, I did a 3hrs trip today on Uber, the Fare was 2515, I was like wtf, the whole traffic I encountered wasn’t included, i fucking hate Uber, now I am going to use them when am in a bad location like Abule gba, In fact I need to start rejecting rides going to places like, Agege,Ogba,Abule Gba, Ota, the traffic in those location are crazy and Uber doesn’t give a damn, they only calculate normal distance to those locations without the traffics in those areas.

There are riders from hell in this uber business, I should pray every morning before leaving the house not to carry a bad passenger. This business is not for the feeble mind.

work smart, take advantage of surge,
and positioning. Ask for destinations, keep your engine running efficiently. UBER is very profitable.
