TheKingIsHere:

Tell the politicians starting from Buhari to declare his assets first.

They cant be imposing that the ordinary people declare assets meanwhile they the politifcians hide their assets

The reason Nigeria is not working is not the absence of good laws but the laws are often targeted towards the poor masses not the well connected. The laws of the land only affect the politically connected persons when they cross their masters. The president of South Africa just resigned because his people asked him to due to his indiscretions, can that ever happen in Nigeria? Which of the Nigeria laws has been able to prosecute any of our former presidents and their families or have all of them been saints? For any law to be effective it must start to cure the ills of lawlessness and impunity from the top. Nigeria is currently being govern as a criminal enterprise.

Nigeria n's are mostly irresponsible when it comes to National duty.We expect everything to be provided freely because "it is our resources"

You cannot make money from a country and not pay tax, period.Taxes have been used to build great civilizations, nations conquered others just to recover taxes from them, and here we are clamouring for growth and development ,we make money from the land but do not want to contribute our taxes.

The developed nations we all run to were built on taxes, just so you all know this is a serious initiative, like the BVN ,TSA and others the political will to implement this is sure.

Nigeria has invested time and money ensuring bilateral agreements with about 14 countries on assets of Nigeria n's abroad, trust me the finance ministry have the list.considering how Nigerians are like termites in property aqquisition, if you have properties anywhere or assets that don't match your taxes in country,,make use of the window period and regularize your tax status with no penalties or be prepared to forfeit them..

P'S I have no affiliations with Government, I know all this cos I listen closely to the Minister and her team speak on this for the last 2 years, nobody has any excuse for non compliance

Useless lots,

When it's to make comparisons that favor them, they are quick to throw facts around.
See their mouths like tax to gdp ratio of 6%; terrible road network, the education sector is a rot, power supply is a write off, yet we won't find them making that comparison with developed nations because it doesn't speak well of them.

The Minister is a lying hypocrite. Somebody that calls herself adeyemi adeosun in Nigeria and folakemi adeosun in uk because she is dodging uk tax? Her husband is also concealing his identity and face but uk authorities are waiting for her.

what exactly do you gain from this character assassination? I hope someone arrests you for this stupid post

In my books she is a shining star for those preaching team young Nigeria n's in Government. The lady is dedicated and hardworking and as seen several great initiatives through, this is just one of them

P'S I have only heard her addressed as kemi adeosun in Nigeria so I don't know what crap you are saying.

Lastly go and pay your taxes
