It's rare before the whole coaching crew including manager admit to unfairly treating a player in the public. Bewildered but not shocked this is football.

With the right diet and drills, Isaac Success can get back into shape. With more drive, focus and hardwork, he can get back to form.

However, the idea of him having a negative influence on our players is frightening.

I have sang this for too long. A player can be good and left out of the team. So, position in club is not a good criteria for judging talent.

Just like Osimhen, Alampasu, K. Nwakali etc.

This article highlights a clear case.

Define bad that's only found in Oliseh and no one else.

Define the bad that only Oliseh needs to be "rebuked" on even when ohers have it and are never rebuked like the way some do when it comes to Oliseh.

Those rants really pissed me off when I read them, it was there and then I was convinced fully, that, that boy is a true waste man. A very big disappointment to Nigeria football

Uche Agbo excited to hit Belgian Cup Final with Standard Liege

Uche Agbo has said he cannot contain his excitement to feature in the final of the Belgian cup, describing it as “my greatest career achievement”.

Uche Agbo’s Standard Liege qualified for the cup final 6-4 on aggregate at the expense of Club Brugge.
The final in exactly a month promises to be an entertaining spectacle against KRC Genk.

He told www.scorenigeria.com.ng, “Playing in the Belgian Cup final would be a priceless event in my career, a memory I would forever cherish.

“Having this opportunity in my first season in Belgium and with Standard Liege is a huge achievement, something that gives me such pride and I won’t take the opportunity for granted if I am picked by the coach in the final.”

The former Granada star has only missed three matches in his first season and he is equally delighted he is playing regularly.
He said, “I am excited to be playing very regularly for my team as it is every player’s dream to be on the pitch and not warming the bench.

“The coach has put so much faith in me and I am really glad I can repay his faith in me and that of the management that invested so much to bring me here.

“I still have over two years on my contract, so at the moment my only focus is to play regularly for Standard Liege and making the World Cup team for my country.”

The FA Cup Quarter finals draw made will see Victor Moses (Chelsea) come up against both Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho of Leicester City.

The match is slated for the weekend of March 16-19 and will come up at the King power stadium (Leicester's home ground).

Now that is yet another match-up to see. wink

Moses, Ndidi nominated for inaugural NFF Awards

Victor Moses, Wilfred Ndidi and Anthony Okpotu have been nominated for the inaugural Nigeria Football Federation Player of the Year award, as confirmed by the NFF on Saturday.
The national federation have revealed the nominees for each of the eight categories ahead of the awards ceremony, with the reveals to be revealed at the Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos on Monday February 19.

It's the first time that Nigeria's football governing body have organised awards to celebrate the pick of the nation's talent, with Moses the favourite to clinch the inaugural men's award.

The Chelsea wideman enjoyed a superb year in 2017, as he won the Premier League with the Blues after enjoying an unlikely renaissance at Stamford Bridge.
Moses was converted to a right wing-back role by Antonio Conte, and went on to play a key role in the title-winning campaign, while also inspiring Nigeria to the 2018 World Cup.
He's joined on the podium by Okpotu, who netted 19 times in the NPFL last term to win the division's Golden Boot, and Ndidi of Leicester City.
The central midfielder adapted seamlessly to the Premier League after being signed from Belgian football, going onto play a key role as the Foxes retained their top flight status and enjoyed a fine run in the Champions League.

In the other categories, Asisat Oshoala is the overwhelming favourite for the Women's Player of the Year award after being nominated alongside Charity Reuben and Francisca Ordega, while Whye Ogbonna, Edwin Okon and Ann Chiejine will contest the Coach of the Year (Women) prize.

In the men's coaching category, Kennedy Boboye has been nominated following his successes with Plateau United, but he'll have to see off competition from Abdu Maikaba and Fidelis Ilechukwu to win the inaugural prize.

Stephen Odey, Nura Mohammed and Ikouwem Utim have been nominated for the Men's Young Player of the Year award, while Plateau United, Akwa United and MFM FC will contest the Team of the Year award.

For the women's Team of the Year prize, Rivers Angels, Nasawara Amazons and Ibom Angels have been nominated.
The Goal of the Season will be contested between Sikiru Olatunbosun, Shedrack Asiegbu and Oche Salifu.

But if he does lose weight and play and impress! I don't see which other power playing skilfull striker we have in the SE! This guy is probably stronger than ighalo bro, this guy came in about 20mins and bambozed senegals defense. Boy wey him and bailey leg jam bailey "iron man" fall for ground!

I tell you...from his act with those english runs gurls...that was exposed I seriously fear for him...he is someone I really don't want in Russia anymore because I fear he gonna be a bad influence on the rest players...giving to wild party and drinking...

the team being filled wit young players need to stay focused and necessary steps need to be taken to aviod distractions...

just take a look at ideye, sadiq umar, oshimen see how ambitous this kids are...
the desire to make the world cup squad is really driving them to go extra mile...
Pls why are we disturbing ourselves with Success.A real student of Nigeria football history would never be bothered cos we have seen enough of them better than Isaac Success in all ramifications but with same attitudes.

Pls do you know Tarilla Okorowanta,Etim Esin,Ochucko Otis,Dondo Ava,Duke UDI,Emma Ebiede, these are extremely talented footballers who are supposed to make it in the world of football but indiscipline ruined them,so Success would not be exceptional unless he changed his attitude.

Some months ago i was telling anyone who care to listen that Success is not a player for this WC,may be 2022 if he can changed but sentiments beclouded some and said am talking trash but good even Success people which i belonged are beginning to see it now.

Sir Komkne always saying it that Success is a failure, pls check Iheanacho now but a lot disagreed citing that he is extremely talented forgetting football is always about discipline not even talent.

Success is someone I know very well right from U 17 in UAE,very bozzling guy who love partying a lot,he shiuld just take it cool and learn from extremely talented players likes Eric Cantona,David Ginola,Paul Gascoigne and Etim Esin, what was the end result.

Bro pls let's talk football the way it's cos i don't know why we always saying Rohr love some or are we saying Rohr hate some.

Pls i want to tell you that as it now we have good players who are better than Isaac Success or do you think this present Eagles na moimoi,it will take a very serious footballer to make the team not Sucesss types who love partying, running around prostitutes.

Ighalo and Success? this arguments came up sometimes ago and after thorough research i realized a lot still rate Success with U 17 glory.

Success talent not in doubt just like Etim Esin then who was even far better but what come out of Etim's career was a disaster,so he should learn from example and make life meaningful for himself not even us cos time is everything, better footballers are springing up everyday.

My man Ighalo is better than Success, goal scoring, pace and what they bring to the team generally though Success is very skillful and on the ball damn cool.

Modified... Strongest doesn't do it,hope you know Akinfewa one of the strongest footballer in the world and mind you will all rate Success based on his talent not on his power.

Is it that a new coach isn't suppose to have it even if it's in alot of successful coaches?

My man Isaac Success is like a son to me not even brother and on a good day i supposed keep mute on his issue or be defending him cos i have strong relationship with him right from U 17 in UAE but sometimes we need to leave friendship aside and talks football.

I remember i had a dispute on his scoring ratio with Ighalo and Iheanacho cos the duo are better and told the moniker forget love for footballer and be objective.

Right now Success has missed it and it w take a very discipline Success to come out of it and see football as a serious business,no one is castigating him but want the best for him and only way to say it is to remain balance on the issue.

I remember how Emma Babayaro was bashing Celestine during one of his poor outing for Newcastle live on TV as a pundit,so sometimes when footballers are going astray, the only way to correct them is saying it out not minding what will comes out of it.

I have a brother who went to Italy with Obafemi Martins through Churchill Olishe, better than Obafemi but you know what attitude issue failed him, full of regret as a footballer, who know him, little dollars beclouded him, women and partying failed him now in United States having normal life with no much money again.
