If rohr invites either of the german guys akpoguma or touriningha for the friendlies then omeruo is out

The German guys are going no where,so because they are German it will automatically push omeruo out,is that how coaches do? They will just come and push omeruo out without fighting, even if they fail to impress they will still be at the World Cup?

One of the strength of our team is PACE.

I see us wrecking havoc on our opponents. All we need to do is master COUNTER ATTACKING FOOTBALL.

With this football(strategy), we'll be lethal against anyside.

I'm big believer in Oliseh. Long before he got the Eagles job, I had wanted him. While I did not believe in the superstitious stories during his Eagles campaign, I still believed the end would have justified the means if he is still at the helm of affairs today.

But there comes a time when you have to realize that talent is not enough. If you do not have human relations skills, you can only go so far in life. It is said that technical skills will get you into a job, but your ability to work in a group will determine your length of stay.

Even if Sittard suspended him unfairly, there is a way to leave the job respectfully and professionally, in such a way that other clubs would find you attractive. You cannot go accusing a club about engaging in illegal deals on social media. What in the world! What message does that send to other clubs. It does not just have the potential to hurt him, it has the potential to have hurt other upcoming black coaches.

He was a hothead during his playing days. He was a hothead during the Eagles campaign. He has left a sour taste in the mouth of the owner of his last job.

If everywhere you go, you are seen as problematic, believe me, the problem is not with the world. Perhaps you should just look at the mirror to see where the problem lies.

Oliseh should go for help. He is a brilliant tactician, no doubt, but he needs to learn how to work with people.

not everybody will be like Mikel that will decide to rot in the teams' parking lot without coming out to voice out his frustration. I mean when you have been sacked you have no more emotional attachment whatsoever to the club, this is not me supporting Oliseh(personally I probably wouldn't have done what he did) but we also have to understand that the club's accusation would have tarnished his image even if he decided to keep quiet

Some Nigerians born outside Nigeria are more passionate about Nigeria than some in it..

Uzoho Set To Beat Enyeama's World Cup Record, Keeps 11th Clean Sheet In 15 Games

Deportivo de La Coruña goalkeeper Francis Uzoho is set to earn a spot in Nigeria's World Cup going by his form for Depor Fabril in the Segunda División B - Grupo I.
The former Golden Eaglets invitee won plaudits from the fans following his performance on his debut against the Argentinian national team last November, keeping the strikers at bay as Nigeria came from behind to beat the two-time world champions 4-2.
Despite the fact Uzoho is only 19 years, he is expected to be a key figure for the Super Eagles at the World Cup as he is expected to be the number one goalkeeper, provided that Vincent Enyeama does not return to the squad.

The teenager has taken part in 15 matches for Deportivo de La Coruña across all levels - 2 in La Liga and 13 in the third-tier - and has posted an impressive 11 shutouts, including Saturday's clash vs Ponferradina.
Only eight players Portu, Aday, álex Arias, David Añón, Randy Nteka, Juanma, Luismi Quezada and Cristo González have managed to score against Uzoho in the current season.

He kept a clean sheet against Eibar, Real Madrid Castilla, R. Majadahonda, Valladolid B, CD Guijuelo, Atl. Madrid B , Celta Vigo B, CD Toledo, UD Sanse, R. Majadahonda and Ponferradina.

Vincent Enyeama is the youngest goalkeeper to play for Nigeria at the World Cup, he was aged 19 years, nine months and 14 days when he started against England on June 12, 2002.
Uzoho would beat that record if he is named in the starting line-up against Croatia on June 16.

Ola Aina Names His Favourite Position And It's Not Right-Back

In a recent interview with the
official website of Chelsea, Nigeria international Ola Aina has listed the positions he has been playing for Hull City and explained why he has thrived at left-back.
When Aina joined Chelsea Academy at U11 level, he was a right winger with an eye for goal before he was moved back to the right back position and can also be deployed as a central defender.

In eight of his last ten matches for Hull City in the Championship, the defender operated at left-back, the same position he was fielded in Nigeria's matches against Zambia, Argentina and Algeria.
''At the beginning of the season I was playing right-back, obviously a position I am used to,'' Ola Aina stated.

''In the second half of the season I have been playing predominantly at left-back.
''I have probably enjoyed it there a bit more funnily enough, because I can drive on the inside or go down the outside and create more chances.''
The London-born Aina could not face Chelsea in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup on Friday, and the Tigers lost 4-0 without him in the line-up.

The guy you quoted is not even Rohr, he even went on to say he is confident they would perform. That is the same as Oga Forgiveness saying Obafemi would outclass Any other striker we currently parade. Just Exactly the same thing most of us do here calling for our prefered players.

Does it make us backward? Oh yes, capital YES.
England and USA has been enjoying Sports men/women of Nigerian background and other Nationalities because they are open minded. Which leaves them with múltiple choice of choosing the best of the bests in Sports competitions. Imagine if they are going about looking for a supposed "full breed"? USA Economy was not built 100% by " full breed" , thanks to their open mind culture .

Your choice of words has the same weight as what Sunday Oliseh said about Ekong and oyinbo players. Very discriminatory. It is just like saying you are not entitled to the benefits of your umunna, because dem born you Outside your village.

Once we become defined in a particular way we stand the risk of being contained. We must develop other areas of our game. I'd rather we should be an attacking as well as counter attacking team rather than just being one way. The way coaches prepare for matches now be sure that they would have a strategy to contain us unless we burst open in another dimension. They not only scout your team but with computer analysis they scout each player dissecting them to the minutest details.

If we go to the world Cup with Akpeyi in goal, we will fail woefully.

I REPEAT WE WILL FAIL WOEFULLY WITH AKPEYI IN GOAL!

We won't qualify from the group stage, no matter what we play. No matter how strong our outfield 10 players are, we will lose out in the group stage.

Akpeyi has a negative history in goal for Nigeria. Let those who have ears hear.

Mark my words. A word is enough for the wise.

Spot on!

@bolded, the Zambians saw this weakness and exploited it. We kept struggling against them in the second leg till the moment we got Iwobi's goal.

A more organised side with clinical striker who's good with his head and feet like lewy as you stated will definitely punish us.

the best thing to do against anyteam that resort to longballs is to sit deep and not press-this will force them to play to our strength.

The thing wey de sweet my belle now is that Ndidi's ball distribution coupled with passing accuracy is improving with every passing game. I see him joining Mikel as our counter attack initiators.

I'm just Imagining us scoring goals after just spraying fast 3-5passes.

No need for possessive football like other football power house as you stated above.

This will be SCINTILLATING!

I prefer Total football. A kind of Mass Attack/Mass Defending football. Like the one Manu's 2013 set of U-17 team played.

And you think he's the worst of all coaches out out there character wise? Tried reading about some of the big names out there? What exactly makes him a bad character person? Let's use 2 incidence as a case study to see if it's just him or other good coaches have same traits.

BTW, what working system does fortuna sittard have that didn't win them a pencil in 25 years? If the so called system was working, they wouldn't be where they are. To make things happen, you need people with strong opinionated mindset. Anyways since they feel he can't be worked with even after setting all the records the club currently have, they can as well part ways as done already.

Oh Oh Oh, you've been repeating same thing since we started this talk last year and i'm just taking notice of it, how come?

So if some "successful" coaches are being unnecessarily hard then we should overlook the excesses of those starting out employing such template, because to you arrogance = excellence.

Being unnecessarily stubborn doesn't always translates into being principled.

Oliseh is someone I've known to be a troublemaker since his playing days for both club and country and if you are asking me for proof of this, then I shouldn't be having this argument with you.

Some of those who he sent out of the team said he was impossible to work with how many of those coaches you like to compare to Oliseh were ever dismissed for same reason, if not for consistent bad results?

Here's one law of power : people crave for change, but when it comes too abruptly, they are sure going to rebel against you even if it's for their benefit in the long run. So what do you do? you feed their fantasy but inject change in a steady, controlled and calculated manner so you don't upset things and are seen as a 'Pandejo'

I'm a United fan and if up till date, I'm not a Mourinho's fan why should I condone Oliseh I even condemned his calling of the team doctor a biatch when he was at Chelsea.

Oliseh can only succeed at a team where he has the controlling share of the club, triples as the sporting director, technical Director and the coach, since he's someone who always wants to be seen as right.

Just imagine him in a Madrid team, I can almost predict correctly him having problems with the Ramos, Marcelo and the Ronaldos of the team because of his overbloated ego that's good at nothing but causing upset everywhere he goes.
