Kai you've spoken well, but you almost spoil your comment with Abak road having one of the best electricity in the country.
Chisos chisos, abi na another Abak road or na same Abak road wey I know and lived in for years.

Abak Road supply, however bad it was, is now comparatively better than many places in Nigeria.

The roads are good and can be improved upon with this design .

Ibeno beach and the entire coast of Akwa ibom needs atleast 5 Piers . each cost around $50,000 each. A nice Ferris wheel at the Ibeno beach would also be great. A Ferris wheel ranges from $100,000 for small ones to $2 Million very large .
It would be great if you can actually act on this ideas? There is a private sector contribution to state development.
Most of those ferris wheels, nice apt. Buildings etc. are owned by private business.
We will be looking forward to having you establish them here in AKS

Serene but poverty is still rife in that state. Nothing happening in the economy.

Every rich person I know there is either a politician or working in the oil company.

I bet u any state u from,,,the IGR in this state is bigger than URS... which state re you from??

I agree with you. Akwa Ibomites are very lazy and don't have that motivation to make money. This is exactly why Igbos saturate the length and breadth of the state, mining gold in businesses that Akwa Ibomites will not exploit.

no igbo guys are good in stealing... majority of robbers caught in my area are them.. selling drugs

Uyo is the capital city of Akwa ibom state in The Niger delta of Nigeria. It is one of the most beautiful and green area in the country.
In the past 30years, the city has grown in leaps and bounds.
One of Nigeria's best photographer Samuel Okposin took his camera to the city of Uyo and captured the city in its greenery.

Enjoy A peep into the city of Uyo through Samuel's lenses.

Next time you think of a place to spend vacation time in Nigeria, Head on to uyo and make this virtual tourism real.
This is beautiful

Uyo contributes nothing to Akwa Ibom! Not even agriculture nor oil...

Spending all the cash on useless things like Ibom plaza...
Akwa Ibom money should be invested in eket/ibeno, esit Eket, ikot ekpene (Oil, agriculture) oron (sea products, agriculture)

Uyo is just a waste of space! S/o to ibesiko (hard working farmers tho
yes you are saying the truth but if the government come.with a plan they can exploit those island in ibeno and ikot abasi and build hight rise building just like Miami and newyork in the USA, but mind you my local government is UYO but that does not stop me from saying the truth
Re: Uyo, The Serene Paradise In Niger Delta - Pictures by Emmanuelakpan23: 7:50am On Aug 05, 2021
Uyo would have been better than it is today if it was located closer to the Atlantic ocean where you have Ibeno. Those oil facilities would have brought a greater and faster development than just good roads.
But with time I believe things will fall in place.

Uyo still remain one of my favorite cities in Nigeria.
yes you just said the absolute truth, but it is still possible if you can be moved to ibeno or ikot abasi and then developed with tall sky scrapper , t would have been better
