You see what your useless thread have led to? Igbos should look inward, and form a formidable front. Our focus should be our Igboid brothers, not unity with hafonjas that never like you for one day. Wtf is wrong with you people. Create threads on Igbo unity, not fuvcking unity with hafonjas. Stupid thread. nonsense angry

bla bla bla..

I have no time for your bullshit.. And if you must know, I prefer Northerners to you uncultured, hateful beings who still carry hate from the civil war around.

As for your last paragraph, Igbos are politically foolish.. TRUE!
But Yorubas? FALSE!

You talk of resources.. What do you parasites have in South East or contribute to the economy other than do attache to SS and be claiming Oil.

The day Nigeria splits is the day you parasites will realize your true status and likely turn beggars.

South West that has everything sef don't brag, It's Igbos that have nothing that make the loudest noise.
Rubbish!

Who told you South East does not have resources... when there is an oil company in Imo and Anambra... so what are they doing there?

I was not born when the civil war broke out and in my own view, only foolish dunce carry such around on their head. I am not stupid to do such. What is in the past is in the past, that is why I don't tag along with many of these guys on nairaland who use that as their point of argument everytime. In my father's compound, I do not even see any of my cousins talking much about it, except for one of my dad's elder brother's first son.

Last time I was in the east, I asked my cousin who grew up in the east what she thought about Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB noise, she just laughed it off and said they are wasting their time. The only time I spoke in favour of the IPOB agitation was when I saw the ethnic bias of Buhari and his fulani cohorts which further expanded his hatred for the Igbos coupled with Igbo leaders who took part in that drama.

Yeah, the North is good... they have rejected restructuring, they have rejected state police, they have rejected resource control...

my question is, what kind of country do you wish for your unborn kids what do you hope they remember you for? You will leave this world soon, so what would you want your children feel about the NIGERIA? until North begin agree to things that will move this country forward, I can never be part of their scheme nor see them my friends.

Many of you are not even thinking straight... you are all ethnic war

I was going through the politics section when I stumbled on a thread in which a supposed efik indigene was calling for the unification and coalition of igbos and yorubas in order to form a formidable south.

it started as usual, Igbos who are emotional toddlers filled with so much uncontrollable and unforgiving spirit and bile couldn't contain their emotions and they let out their usual pent up anger over a past many didn't even experience--the biafra war.--as one of them even admitted.

I will repeat it again, if there is anything, igbos are not so wise, despite their bravery and strength. It was the wisdom of David that fell Goliath in the bible. Go figure... everything is not by gra gra.

According to history, Ojukwu was no where to be found when shiit hit the fan. He saved his FAMILY first before the children of the masses that sacrificed their children at that altar of war arena.

History also has it on record that other ethnic groups fought on the side of Biafra and with casualties recorded on their side as well. But each time this story is told by Igbos, they hardly ever mention this side of the story. How do you want them to feel?

If Biafra was so great as you all boast on nairaland, how come just food was used to bring the great biafra to its knees? This is what happens when you lack strategy.

Look at IPOB agitation and see who disintegrated them... fellow igbos did. You have not defeated your enemies within, you want to take on an entire nation. Kill those governors, the entire current governors and I will begin to take you serious.

The mere fact that Nnamdi Kanu ( I didn't like his strategy which buttress my points above--lack of wisdom and strategy but brave) is missing and everywhere in the East is calm when you should be after your governors, burning up and maiming them for partaking in disappearance of Nnamdi Kanu, kill their family if you can, you are here making noise.

Now listen up... bring up Biafra agitation million times and it will fail a million times... because you guy lack wisdom.... FACT! what is bravery without wisdom? There too many loopholes that elites will always use against the agitation of Biafra and you guys are not even ready to fix those loopholes.

I had to spend more time on Igbo issue because this is where I come from.

The Yorubas on the other hand always act like they are too smart, they think forming alliance with the North means the will enjoy so much benefits... what are the stats as of 2018? Is SW now the Utopia?

One slowpoke said "we know what we want"... What do you want? Are you getting what you want? If you are using Lagos state development as yardstick of progress of SW in 2018, you are one of the fools of the 21st century. Many of you who lay claim to Lagos and sing "Eko Oni Baje" are not even from that state. You are singing Eko Oni Baje but your state in Ekiti, Ogun, Osun, Ondo, Oyo are nothing to write home about.

No light, no good roads, education is in shambles, no jobs, poverty is on the increase... and so many plagues I can't mention.

You continue to associate with the North that is EVERY damn thing backwards, a group people who makes God regret his works of creation.

Nigeria is being recognised for any achievements on the international arena, it is OFTEN the SOUTH! 99.9% achievements in this country is by the works of the South... but you all allow this good for nothing stone age Neanderthals to keep dragging the progressive South backwards because of your foolishness, pride and ego!

Do you think the North does not have differences? but they are often quick to cover up their mess before the very eyes of the South, case in point, the incessant attacks by Emir Sanusi and the drama that followed suit.

I really don't know what is wrong with you people... educated but often act like you are smart illiterates. Left for me, the North is NOTHING...and they can be put where they belong but you all keep making them feel important by your actions and inactions. Do you see them commenting as much as you?

Listen up... the fact that you know how to read and write does not mean you are smart or intelligent.

Till I die, no Northerner will ever get my votes... Buhari did a nice job in letting me know we are not one!

Gbam!

I wish I could re-like this thread a thousand times.

Sometimes I wonder why Southerners tend to be very foolish. Does western education make people more wise or more foolish, I keep on asking myself.

As a middlebelter who knows much about the core-north, let me highlight what you have said about the differences of the north.

Foolish southerners don't know that the core-northernerns have even worse differences among themselves, they only try to hide it and bury their differences when it comes to politics, but southerners will rather wash their dirty linens in public and fight dirty.

Up till today, most Kanuris of the north -east find it difficult to pray behind a Hausa Imam. A Hausa man cannot lead prayers in Maiduguri or any other Kanuri area, it is impossible. Kanuris consider Hausas to be inferior muslims.

On the other hand Hausa-fulanis consider most middlebelt and northern minority muslims as fake muslims. If you doubt, ask people who witnessed Jos or Kaduna or Kano religious crisis, they will tell you how Hausa fulanis murder Nupe, Gwari, Bariba, Ebira and Igala muslims. .......Yet when it comes to politics, they will sweep all this under the carpet and unite.

See the current massacre going on in Zamfara. It is nothing but fulani herdsmen killing Hausa farmers, but the wise Core-northern leaders call it banditry, hoodlums and robbery attacks, for the sake of unity...... Men, even me myself, I dobale for these people. They are masters at their game......
Times without number, fulani herdsmen and Hausa farmers have clashed, but the way they cover it in the core-north, you won't know.....

Now, the differences btw southerners has never escalated to the level of killing each other, yet their mouths are always louder to talk about their differences...... What a short-sighted group of deluded fools.

Bro I tire oo. What is the essence southern unity? Is that not like forming a mini-Nigeria? Me I don't want any bullshyte like that. Nigeria will split into at least three. Creating southern unity is like jumping from frying to fire.
We don't even share any similarity if not for Niger-area.
The igbo man is to Yoruba what an Akan is to a Zulu. We are totally different

This is what I call the typical foolishness of a Black man.
Cos, white people and other races do not reason like this.

French and English people are as different from each other as Chinese & Indians, yet the same French & English people put their differences and enemity aside, sat down on a table in Berlin 1884 and discussed on how to share, divide, conquer and rule your fathers and mine. ......Today, is that legacy not still standing? They are still ruling you and I today. ..... This is the reason why the black man would always be the scum of the earth. Lack of common sense.

If Europeans had not put their differences aside to unite and colonize Africa and in extension the world, do you think the white race would have been superior today?

Hausas, Kanuris & fulanis fought bloody wars before the British came and amalgamated them together, they still have their differences till date, yet they put it aside and unite for politics.

How many wars did Igbos & Yorubas fight before the British came?

Who is hating on another man's success? So, in your myopic brain, other South West states, apart from LAGOS, does not deserve progress cos that was my point hence why I said what is good for Lagos is good for Ogun, Osun, Ekiti and others.

I can't be screaming Eko Oni Ba Je when I am from Ogun state and we can't boast tangible development...as is experienced in Lagos. that is my point.

All the states in the SW and in Nigeria in general deserve progress and development, but common sense should tell clearly and intelligently that whatever progress and development can not be the same and at the same level, based on their economic realities, geographical location and available resources and even based on leadership drive and qualities.

I so love your caustic satire. ive been yelling it all over, the biggest problem with this useless space called Nigeria, but specifically with Southerners in this case isnt corruption or the useless gang of reprobates who tag themselves as leaders, but the horde of foolish, unwise, hollow-thinking morons who continue to give fillip to those "born to rule" creatures. One of the creatures came up and crying the south is trying to divide them, as if that hasnt been their trump card over the south over the years. Let the two tribes continue to squabble at the detriment of their coming generations, those ones up there got nothing to lose. Idiots!!!

Mr man, the IMO and Anambra point I used is an analogy to drive home my point, stop making it seem like I hate Imo people cos your plan will not work. Same way I didn't mean I wish for other South west state to fail.

Your attempt to twist my narrative is doa. So stop the nonsense.

The point of this thread is that Igbos and Yorubas are fools and their disunity is the loophole in the south, with south east being the bigger fool cos they are good at making too much noise with no concrete strategy.

Come to look at it, it is not just a case of tribal war but a battle of superiority ego between. Both factions.

At the end of the day, your stupidity gives the North upper hand to drag the rest of the country backwards.

You will be here insulting each other and Togo that is currently in turmoil will wake up one day and surpass Nigeria and be more respected in committee of nations than Nigeria.

According to history, Ojukwu was no where to be found when shiit hit the fan. He saved his FAMILY first before the children of the masses that sacrificed their children at that altar of war arena.

You better start brushing up on your history since you seem not to know much of it. Ojukwu fought a 3 year war of independence under unbelievable odds. If you people were expecting him to present himself and his family to his enemies to be used for target practice then keep waiting, for that would have been stupid on the part of Ojukwu. As for the many Biafran kids that died, what killed them was the evil called "one Nigeria" and not Ojukwu.

History also has it on record that other ethnic groups fought on the side of Biafra and with casualties recorded on their side as well. But each time this story is told by Igbos, they hardly ever mention this side of the story. How do you want them to feel?

Stop talking nonsense. After Ojukwu, the most recognised Biafran War Hero is Philip Effiong.

If Biafra was so great as you all boast on nairaland, how come just food was used to bring the great biafra to its knees? This is what happens when you lack strategy.

Food scarcity can always be used to bring anything to its knees but it should be noted that it was British Warships that blockaded Biafra and prevented the massive importation of food and Arms into Biafra by Ojukwu. Had Britain stayed neutral, Nigeria would not have won the war.

Look at IPOB agitation and see who disintegrated them... fellow igbos did. You have not defeated your enemies within, you want to take on an entire nation. Kill those governors, the entire current governors and I will begin to take you serious.

Sorry bro but IPOB is not a violent organisation and they do not kill people. IPOB agitation is still there and it is full blown underground. Operation Python dance convinced most people sitting on the fence that Nigeria is a sinking Ship. The only reason people have not yet gone back to the streets is the unresolved court issues.

As I said before, IPOB is not a violent organisation. It is not going to kill anyone. The calm that people see is one that is decieving because neither IPOB nor the agitation has gone away. IPOB is waiting for its judgements in court. The lifting of its proscription, the declaration of Python dance as illegal and the interpretation of sections 217 are all in court.

Now listen up... bring up Biafra agitation million times and it will fail a million times... because you guy lack wisdom.... FACT! what is bravery without wisdom? There too many loopholes that elites will always use against the agitation of Biafra and you guys are not even ready to fix those loopholes.

The agitation for for freedom and independence has no expirey date. If it is 2 million faliures it takes then thats what it takes. Nigeria has long failed anyway

OP if you notice my moniker yesterday, I was in support of the Southern unity the OP with McCain moniker advised.

I know quite well Igbos and Yorubas don't like each other especially the lots on this Forum but I was only suggesting even a temporary union of Both to wrestle power away from the Northerners that are controlling things in Government,Politics and drawing the rest of us Backwards.

I was only proposing temporary unity and after the power have been taken from them we can then go our separate ways.

You see the way Nigeria is structured and constituted, the North will continue to control the rest of us in these called Nigeria. They have designed it that way, the Igbos that want Biafra will never get it except through War because referendum was not included in the constitution so their representatives cannot over ride the Northern representative votes in the National assembly, the only way to achieve that is to rally round with other Southern and middle Belt representatives to get more votes in favour of referendum ahead of the core Northern representatives who will want to twart the inclusion of refendum in the constitution.

We all know we need to restructure by dissolution of power to the constituent states and region but the Hausa Fulani leaders will never agree to it because it ends their dominance in Nigeria so we keep going around in circles and undeveloped when the rest of the world is moving forward.

Igbos alone cannot get their Biafra without the support of others (except they result to War. If you go to the Airport and Seaport,Customs,immigration/ border control in the SW the Northerners control all these agencies so how do the Yorubas want to grow without restructuring and devolution of Power they have been clamouring for?

In Conclusion, if the Igbos and Yorubas are to get what they want, they must unite temporarily to fight these born to rule Oligarchy who keeps drawing them back.

it started as usual, Igbos who are emotional toddlers filled with so much uncontrollable and unforgiving spirit and bile couldn't contain their emotions and they let out their usual pent up anger over a past many didn't even experience--the biafra war.--as one of them even admitted.

Am happy these yoruba ediots did this to u. They pissed all over ur thread grin mumu man. U started ur post insulting igbos where u claim to come from. To achieve wat? Who is now the hateful people? The yorubas have shown u where they stand....i hope nxt tym u will try and stand with ur people and not wash ur dirty linens outside

The North's Aliko Dangote as an individual and brand is one of Nigeria's biggest exports with regards to his industrial and humanitarian exploits continentally and globally as well as his world-record achievements and is a source of national pride and international admiration.

419/internet fraud and drug trafficking on the other hand, are synonymous to Nigeria on the international scene and are the major source of her notoreity and international condemnation.

Go figure.

All the states in the SW and in Nigeria in general deserve progress and development, but common sense should tell clearly and intelligently that whatever progress and development can not be the same and at the same level, based on their economic realities, geographical location and available resources and even based on leadership drive and qualities.

Coming from the same loser who is not happy and excited about progress in Imo state because he's from anambra.

A 2 day old baby get sense pass you ignorant and intelligent Igbos.

Is it really by force for you people not to have any sense at all..?
All i see in your post is a boy filled with bitterness for a tribe whose only offence is that they are more hardworking and resourceful than your generation. Every thing an igboman does gives you so much pain. If you do not slow down in this obsession of yours, you will be inviting death at your door.

Must Igbo and yoruba unite before the yorubas declare oduduwa and East declares Biafra and pull down the fulani-run zoo from their ends?

Do you now see that there is no hope for this country? You think maybe by bashing your own people first, they'll acknowledge what you'll say about them?? See, that's our problem, we are still playing sensible politics. My brother, democratic politics is only meant for white people, it doesn't work on this part of the world.
For all I know, its a 75% chance that Nigeria doesn't have any future, so take the back sit and enjoy the ride till the day of reckoning while playing politics the way they love it to be played; tribal, ethnic and sentimental.

With your kind, Igbos must within themselves understand that Yorubas are not normal humans, in other words they haven't entered into history.

Looking at Nigeria/Lagos, I wonder what kind of human beings will take such punishment unto themselves...
And what would you say about Igbos with the type of comment from an Igbo as shown below..

Ps: remember, you drew your conclusion of Yorubas based on the comment of ONE Yoruba man.

I just don't understand these people's logic.

They try to encourage a people to mend fences and love each other, and that alliance they desire SHOULD BE PREDICATED ON HATE FOR ANOTHER PEOPLE!!

What manner of devilish sermon is that?

Hate, hate, hate, hate.. .that is all they nurture in their hearts.

Glad folks gave it to him real good.

Close your mouth.

You think we have forgotten your mockery during the Python Dance.

You Northern Christians will have to pick between joining Christian Biafra or losing your lives in the hands of Fulani Terrorists.

God will not save you guys if you don't apologize and reunite with your fellow Christian Ethnic Group.
