You better start brushing up on your history since you seem not to know much of it. Ojukwu fought a 3 year war of independence under unbelievable odds. If you people were expecting him to present himself and his family to his enemies to be used for target practice then keep waiting, for that would have been stupid on the part of Ojukwu. As for the many Biafran kids that died, what killed them was the evil called "one Nigeria" and not Ojukwu.

Stop talking nonsense. After Ojukwu, the most recognised Biafran War Hero is Philip Effiong.

Food scarcity can always be used to bring anything to its knees but it should be noted that it was British Warships that blockaded Biafra and prevented the massive importation of food and Arms into Biafra by Ojukwu. Had Britain stayed neutral, Nigeria would not have won the war.

Sorry bro but IPOB is not a violent organisation and they do not kill people. IPOB agitation is still there and it is full blown underground. Operation Python dance convinced most people sitting on the fence that Nigeria is a sinking Ship. The only reason people have not yet gone back to the streets is the unresolved court issues.

As I said before, IPOB is not a violent organisation. It is not going to kill anyone. The calm that people see is one that is decieving because neither IPOB nor the agitation has gone away. IPOB is waiting for its judgements in court. The lifting of its proscription, the declaration of Python dance as illegal and the interpretation of sections 217 are all in court.

The agitation for for freedom and independence has no expirey date. If it is 2 million faliures it takes then thats what it takes. Nigeria has long failed anyway

Consider a paternity test because Igbos dont have your sort of slave mentality

The day Igbos are not in one country with Yorubas will be a glorious day for the Igbo nation.

Sometimes I wonder why Southerners tend to be very foolish. Does western education make people more wise or more foolish, I keep on asking myself.

As a middlebelter who knows much about the core-north, let me highlight what you have said about the differences of the north.

Foolish southerners don't know that the core-northernerns have even worse differences among themselves, they only try to hide it and bury their differences when it comes to politics, but southerners will rather wash their dirty linens in public and fight dirty.

Up till today, most Kanuris of the north -east find it difficult to pray behind a Hausa Imam. A Hausa man cannot lead prayers in Maiduguri or any other Kanuri area, it is impossible. Kanuris consider Hausas to be inferior muslims.

On the other hand Hausa-fulanis consider most middlebelt and northern minority muslims as fake muslims. If you doubt, ask people who witnessed Jos or Kaduna or Kano religious crisis, they will tell you how Hausa fulanis murder Nupe, Gwari, Bariba, Ebira and Igala muslims. .......Yet when it comes to politics, they will sweep all this under the carpet and unite.

See the current massacre going on in Zamfara. It is nothing but fulani herdsmen killing Hausa farmers, but the wise Core-northern leaders call it banditry, hoodlums and robbery attacks, for the sake of unity...... Men, even me myself, I dobale for these people. They are masters at their game......
Times without number, fulani herdsmen and Hausa farmers have clashed, but the way they cover it in the core-north, you won't know.....

Now, the differences btw southerners has never escalated to the level of killing each other, yet their mouths are always louder to talk about their differences...... What a short-sighted group of deluded fools.

I have no time bringing what is in the past into the present. Only fools hold on to the past.

Yoruba people or the North?

Its easy to calculate.
Just calculate it from the time Usman dan fodio led his Fulani people to conquer most of the Yoruba nation.

South East, develop your states. Face your leaders. So many Igbos in the south West esp Lagos has even turn Yoruba. A lot of Igbos Now give their children Yoruba names. Igbo is a high class tribe but not ready to fix their region.

There is no visible developmental project going on in the SE. Lagos and OGUN state has pallied in projects from housing to oil&gas to farming and industry. Today OGUN state harbours more industries. Yoruba's are welcoming to a great extent that's why you can hardly enter a bus in Lagos and not see an Igbo man. Lots of igbos are in the south western states and are even getting comfortable.

Igbo should stop blaming others. Work on yourself, your region, your government and politics.

I don't agree with you totally...

The easterners have always taken action but there actions are always thwarted by their southern neighbours..

Use the civil war as an example. Do you think the north could have defeated the Biafrans if the Western region and parts of the southern minorities had been neutral?

The east always suffer set back by its neighbours unlike the north that appears united at every turn.

Also use IPOB as example...How many times have you seen the northerners condemn BH and Fulani herdsmen? But you have seen how IPOB movement was shut down, mostly by our western neighbours...

I'm South South man from Edo.
I always want to see the South unite. The southerners are always waiting patiently to see Bother The South east and South west come together as one in political front and in an agenda of propagating a united South. This is what can break the powers of the Hausa/Fulani.
I am against and will always be against the division of this great Nation.
The Ibos should fight on and stop hiding under the shadows of always wanting to break away if things don't go their way. The Ibos have just 5states and even the Yorubas don't share more also but the Hausa/Fulani has used their deceptive measures, religion and herdsmen terrorism to bring the whole of the North to its knees even the middle belt.
I bet you if the Southerners come together as one even large part of the middle bet will choose to join party with the south.
I am not saying this in order to divide the nation but to propagate level playing ground in politics and democracy where on tribe(Fulani) will not feel superior to all the tribes of the nation.

God bless you my brother the Ibos are always quick to leave their states to other states and nation to do business there.
Traveling out to find better opportunities os not the problem bit the problem is not going back to your state to develop it after you have gain knowledge or made it in business. If you keep running away from your state who then do you expect to develop it?

You hardly see a Yoruba man or Hausa man all over the states in Nigeria but Ibos are sure everywhere.
You bust build your state to a capacity where others will want to benefit from it and thereby increase the chances of states doing business together. This is one of the tool to unify the southern states

From what you know so far...Which of these people antagonizes the easterners most.

a. Hausa/Fulanis

b. Yorubas

c. Ijaws

d. Edos

Who played more part in the civil war..

a. Murtala Mohammed/TY danjuma

b. Awolowo/Obasanjo

c. Gowon

I also disagree...

Igbos leave their state to other areas just like other people...It is their nature to travel. Just like you have more Igbos in Togo, Ghana, Cameroun, Congo, Gabon, SA, Kenya, Germany, Malaysia, China, Japan, Austria, etc...than any other tribes in Nigeria.

Outside Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt...can you name any city better than those in the SE?

I however, support they do more in their region...
