leo1234:You will never know or see the bottom during this kind bear, only the market know the bottom. Remember, when the whole stock was flying, we keep hoping that the stocks has seen their top, but on daily bases, they kept on seen their new high. Hope the MMM group has not use their ideology to visit NSE, to play on people intelligence and cash. When the stock was moving, changing level, nobody no the reason of its rise, because there was no good news in the market then, every stocks kept on bid side on daily bases. If I may ask, what suddenly changed, that is now turning most of stocks backward? I think manipulators were at work. |

Chibuking81: I think this is bound to have happened long ago. CBN policy might be fueling it the more but if it's about this policy alone, then FCMB shouldn't be losing as well. |

NOTE: This Info is strictly for informational purpose only and should not be interpreted to mean any kind of recommendation. ...for I currently do not own any share in the coy DUNLOP NIGERIA. If the like let them come from the moon, many will not join them. 3 Likes |

Reduction of debts in normal course of operation. 5. Well diversified company 6. Best company in payment of dividend 7. Peer review suggests that, number one could not be left behind. strategy in case of unexpected Average Down |

FMN has a lot of passengers, many are doing monkey hunt for the company. Their upward movement may not be now, because they still have months for the declaration of their result, may be then if election bear did not surface. 2 Likes |

samzepaparazi: Keep watching the market... If a stock has recorded lower closing price for about 10 consecutive dates, why don't you wait till it stops dropping? That is, if you must invest in it. A stock that sold at N2.90 is not necessarily a better stock at N2.50k. 1 Like |

TLAX: Sumitomo Rubber South Africa(PTY) Limited (SRSA) in partnership with Tyre Express Nigeria Limited has opened a Dunlop Zone store in Victoria Island, Lagos. The opening of the store will help them in the expansion strategy which sees them focusing on key African countries with great growth potential and expanding markets. “In Nigeria, SRSA has already opened four stores in Lagos, through our partnerships with our distributor. With the city’s population estimated at 21 million, this store is strategically located to service a range of customer needs including and not limited to ancillary services such as balancing, alignment, brakes, batteries, shock absorbers, exhausts and tow bars”. Through market engagements based on SRSA’s success in various distribution channels, they have introduced the Tyre Retail model to the African continent which is a maturing industry with growing potential. This new world class retail centres will aim to offer a different experience to the customer, with high levels of service, comfortable lounges, free Wi-Fi zone and more. “Our aim and vision is to change the experience of buying tyres in Nigeria”, said Govind Ram, Director of Tyres Express Nigeria. “We are taking a long-term investment approach to this partnership, and have therefore made sure that we do not cut any corners. The Tyre Express we are opening in partnership with SRSA is of global standards and I am confident that it would stand high against any others in the world”, said Jaber Abbas, MD of Tyres Express Nigeria. Riaz Haffejee CEO of Sumitomo said “It is our vision and aim to enhance the safety for all road users, and reduce the risk of accidents and loss of lives on the road. Motorists must be given readily-accessible choice of high quality new tyres at affordable prices to ensure the right product, is on the right vehicle and fits the right terrain.” Read more at: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/10/dunlop-expands-nigerian-business/ |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by TLAX: 4:28pm On Feb 20, 2018 |
kolaish: Look before you leap.... You may be investing in a shell company. The original Dunlop is dead and buried. All known assets including its Head Office in Oba Akran and its factories have been seized by Banks through the court of law. They made attempt to shift production of tyres to Ghana but i am sure that did not work out well. They had a public offer a few years ago and there is no result on how that went. Again, typical case of bad policy affecting coys. They invested a huge sum of money building a new facility after the ban on importation of tyres and as soon as they were done, the ban on new and second tyre importation was lifted by the government of the day. 3 Likes |
