zubinike: Whilst it is real, kindly note that Notify is not the sender ID that UBA uses. The reason why he got the text as rNotify was because he enabled DND on his line. So text sent to numbers that have DND activated won't be delivered. But, UBA on the other hand sent the text to bypass DND so he can get the text but instead of coming in as UBA whatever, it comes in as rNotify. If UBA didn't do it that way, he won't have gotten the text. Some even comes in as rUPDATE or INFINITI. I'll still maintain that while we don't like unsolicited SMS, activating DND on your line might cause you to miss important text. 8 Likes |
