I strongly believe that if a job seeker ask friends, family members and relations for help on their required capital, they will get it if only they are really serious abt going into business.... I am starting mine as soon as possible. Enough is enough...money must be made in anyways possible not necessarily by going to school and getting a job....even when the job is not coming and even when it comes in a low pay form, some people will still be satisfied working for 2-5 years earning their penny instead of fasttracking their money money objectives by starting up a business or resigning and doing something else.

When naija peopl talk abt job search, i always remember how many Guardian Newspapers i bought.....bt, for my opinion, jobs dey naija esp Lagos. Plenty jobs but you need person to slot you in. I jst pity thoz above 35 because sec school leavers dey get jobs above them even with their Msc.

There are jobs in Nigeria. The truth is that most jobs are poorly paid. Why most are also casualized. If there are employment laws that are adhered to, then 90% will be gainfully employed and corruption will size. Imagine working for 10 years with a salary of #60,000, You will end up being frustrated because you can't achieve anything. Even if You continue working for 100 years with that #60,000 salary na sorry be your name. Even people earning #400,000 only succeed with strong willed planning, that is in ten years of work they could boost of a land of #2million and maybe two flats on it. The truth is that we need employment laws, that will empower all and stop this slavery we are all witnessing. We need government to set up workable mortgage schemes and loans. We need people with good conscience. Imagine people cutting grass in Shell, Agip or other multinationals being paid #50,000. While the contractor swims in nothing less than #10 million per month. God help Nigeria.

I salute you. This is the problem.... graduates living in the 21st century with 20th century mentality..... analog minds waiting to enter digital market. In this 21st century..... whatever you study... the aim should be to use the knowledge you acquired to become independent.... not to secure a permanent job.... that is graduating to be in bondage.... a servant to someone else. We keep waiting and hoping and praying for a good job to fall upon us instead of using what we acquired to start our own. Let us keep waiting..... while the graduate line becomes longer...we become older... our chances become slimmer ...we can always shout louder as we blame Buhari or whoever is in charge ...anyone else but ourselves...for our state of unemployment. Buying and selling of Treasury bills is for retirees and not for a young vibrant youth with a lot of potentials in him waiting to be harnessed.
In treasury bills trading you can only make 10% of your investment 90 days or 365 days,that's not encouraging enough uconsidering the present economic reality.
