So Candida causes yellow deposits on the tonsils like the OP described?
No! you are not likely having tonsils or Sinuses,if the smell comes through your nose during breathing ,then it can be attributable to sinuses, but this one is from your tongue, white patches on your tongue will make your tongue to be coarse thereby trapping food particles that will later be acted upon by bacteria to produce foul smells.
seems you know something about indoor headaches... I thought it was all in my head but was having a horrible headache one evening, tried to do my massage tricks, for wia only for me to go outside and get something down the street and immediately fresh air hit me, I ressurected. What could cause this? A stuffy room? I mean I live in Jos and barely gets as hot as most places....if you have explanations I'd really appreciate!
But i think the problem of your mouth odor is not from your tooth so brushing them 100 times wont change anything.
You're suffering from tonsil stones, this trapped debris hardens, or calcifies. This tends to happen most often in people who have chronic inflammation in their tonsils or repeated bouts of tonsillitis.
The white milky stuff in your throat is the cause of your issue. That stuff smells more than feaces. (No exaggeration)
Go to a good dentist and make complains about the tonsil stones. They have a way of removing them from the throat and also help you clean them properly. They will also give you medications if required.
There are videos on youtube on how to remove tonsil stones. But they look irritating and i dont want to ruin peoples appetite by posting the link here. If you want to watch them. Goto youtube and search how to remove tonsil stones
For the headache, try and observe if it usually springs up whenever you're hungry. If yes then it's tension headache... Try to lay your hands on food even if it's a bottle of coke it will help. I don't know your age... But have you checked your BP
AfflictedOne: Good morning Nairalanders , especially doctors in the house. I have a very serious case of bad mouth odour that has persisted for a long time, at least 8years.
Sometimes I have to brush as many as three to four times a day and bad enough, it will still be there.
Occasionally, I remove some yellowish smelly stuffs from my throat and after sometimes I see them again. Also of late, I have persistent headaches even without fever, even when I wake in the morning expecting to be refreshed, the ache will still be there. I don't know if these are related.
I have seen two or three doctors and normally there give me antibiotics and recommend mouthwashes. Now it is still here an am worried and depressed.
I am in my late 20s and this has affected my life in ways space will not permit me to write. I just cannot function well anywhere because I cannot talk for fear of the odour. My social life is zero, and I am almost always alone.
Please advice me if you have or know someone who has experienced this, or you are an expert or you know something I can do to be free from this. Its so bad its the only item on my new year prayer. I don't want to spend another year in this. Thank you all in anticipation.

AfflictedOne: I knew this kind of response will come up because I have been on this forum for a while. But the situation is more a cause of concern than your sarcasm. Anyone with useful advice should please go ahead
Don't let negative comments affect you. Concerning the mouth odour and headaches, sugar is your main culprit and number one enemy... so stop and avoid every sugary foods at once. Things like white sugar, white bread, soft drinks and fruit juices... anything that has sugar in it... about the constant headaches, I think there's a hole or holes in your teeth hence the headaches, therefore, you need to see a dentist ASAP. Brushing with salt also helps with mouth odour, removes plaques, stop gum bleeding and cleanses your tongue... Please let me know how you fare

Go to a teaching hospital. Meet a doctor. It's a stupid quack doctor that will just write Antibiotics for u. He should send u to u lab so that they can take a sample of ur mouth n test so that they can find out the particular bacteria causing ur mouth odour and give u targeted Antibiotics dedicated to killing it. If that is not the case, Still stay with ur doctor in teaching hospital until ur problem is discovered n fixed.
The depression should b causing ur headache. If u fix the mouth odour, It will likely stop.
Eat a lot of walnut it really helps, or better yet brush your teeth regularly especially the tongue and then get a warm water and add salt into the warm and gaggle your mouth with the salt solution for 5 mins, do either of these and you will get a positive result!!!

Try using... Lime/grape mix with honey. Get a lime or grape... Squeez in a clean cup, then add small quantity of honey, stir well... Use it to rinse ur mouth 3times a day, hold it in ur mouth for 5-10mins, do it on daily basis for 1weeks and ur problem will be solve
1.Have u tried alum before. It helps a lot with odour. Get alum, soak in water. Use the water to gaggle before and after brushing. Do it repeatedly. Alum helps to adsorb and can often be used as local deodorant under the armpit. 2. You may also use ash from burnt firewood one that is old preferably so u dont hurt ur gum. Concentrate more on ur teeth and tongue and rinse afterwards. Do so twice a day. But at d same time if u ve a hole in ur teeth then that would be an underlying cause of the mouth odour cos it is a major cause for many. Also, if u eat any sugary food then u ve to wash immediately cos bacteria as part of normal flora in d mouth often have enzymes that breaks down sugar. The ash may alter tge pH for a while making the enzymes inactive. Dont bother spending money on mouth wash and wahtever. Pls let me know how it is afterwards.

Do u frequenly have stuffed nose? Is the "headache" worst at the front of ur head, l.mean the area around ur nose? Does the headache get worse when you bend ur head forward? If the answers to these questions are positive or somehow positive, dn ur probs is most like a chronic sinusitis until proven otherwise. U will nid to see an ENT surgeon. That bn said, pls try ds first before u go ahead with any oda advice in here.
P.S. Op google can help you alot. I still dont get why Nigerians are simply dont take advantage of that powerful tool.

I was about giving the same advice. I had it too for many years until I did personal research about the yellowish stuff coming from my throat. That thing like stalled shit. I was always having one sided haedache.. it also led to me have sinusitis. So it was a circle, sickness circle. Doctors offered many antibiotics and I offer myself more but the smell wont just go away.
Everyone she also not be weary of kissing babes with mouth order.. because I believes where I connected mine.. I don't even know the number of babes have kissed afterwards..
Try see an ENT specialist. you might need your tonsils taken out if those stones keeps appearing. I reckon what you have is tonsilitis/ throat infection it does smell pretty bad and painful too also that it can cause a banging headache, fever, painful ears. For the headache just make sure you always drink alot of water and rest well but make sure u see an ENT specialist asap.

Ikemefuna44: Op, I used to have bad breath. My mouth odour lasted for over ten years. It was the most frustrating period of my life. I had low self-esteem and I wisely stayed off relationship. Within that period the frustrating ailment was existing, I used many drugs, I used different kinds of mouth wash, I visited dentist, my oral hygiene was top notch. But none of these things worked. My life was drifting away and there was nothing I could do.
Fortunately for me, sometime in 2016, I had a persistent cough. My elder suggested I take BITTER KOLA together with Tom Tom candy. These cured the cough. However, afterwards, I kept taking bitter kola-I read online that it has numerous benefits in the body and most importantly, it takes care of mouth odour. It clears the bacteria causes mouth odour in the mouth. Initially it was pretty bitter but after a couple of weeks or so, I was used to the taste, and it was so natural. Well, one day my mouth odour disappears, completely, whenever I chew bitter kola. It only reappears after two days if I fail to chew bitter kola. Ever since then, I virtually chew bitter kola every day or every other day. To me, it was a little sacrifice for what it worth. I've already chewed one this morning. My bad breath is gone. Bitter kola solved it. I think you should try it. Cheers!
Funny thing is dentist o, ENT doctors o, will keep recommending antibiotics for you. I swear, this country is already a failed one. I weep for my dear country Nigeria.

the worst odour someone can have is mouth odour, followed by body odour, and finally ANUS odour, that was what my good friend form Romance section with the username Smellinganus told me,OP,u need the help of God and a good doctor
Try to check with both a Dentist and an ENT doctor. If the odour is caused by tonsil stones, they can be removed. If it is caused by sinusitis/sinus infection, I am very sure they are going to prescribe antibiotics. But the problem is antibiotics work for some sinusitis while they don't work for some other sinus infections. Even in the western world, so many people with sinus infections have not been able to find a solution in the hospitals. It is surprising that many even went through surgeries yet the problem persisted.
This is my advice: if it is tonsils, get them removed. If it is sinus infection use any drugs they are going to prescribe. If the drugs work, lucky you. If the drugs don't work, try quoting me. I will tell you what I did that solved my sinusitis.
My experience: I had sinus infection in 2014, visited an ENT doctor and the drugs he prescribed worked.
In late 2017, the sinusitis returned. So I visited that same doctor but the drugs he gave me refused to work. I also visited other doctors yet the problem persisted. In fact, the odour increased and I had to start staying indoors. So I started reading online and found some info on some forums. I tried what I read and it worked miraculously. Please note that I didn't spend more than 6k on this particular method. That was after spending about 50k visiting hospitals and doctors.
Summarily: 1. Be sure of the cause of the problem. 2. Let the qualified/trained doctors treat you first. 3. If number 2 failed, quote me or send a PM.
