Before a place could called a delta it must be every close to the sea. So the Niger delta is the delta of Niger river sitting directly on the gulf Guinea on the Atlantic Ocean in Nigeria. Now this include the nine coastal state of which the Abia, IMO and Ondo plus the six south south state. Of all the Niger delta state, only cross river has no oil.
