Be like say you be oloyinbo but i remember you are based abroad and have probably never driven for a day.i would not talk much.i leave the Picture below for you to conclude on your misguided thoughts.

I thought your screen shot would have say, 5k in 14hours.

With 17k in 14hours you can still pay 50k. If you remove the amount of wait time, I see no stress in this job.

You made too much assumptions in your submissions. I won't regard anyone that uses full synthetic oil on his uber cars as someone trying to 'save costs'.

The 'narrative guy' has plenty experience as a driver too, if you've taken time to read their submissions. As a matter of time, they both drive.

They both invested and have cars on the platform. Hope you know that narrative or not, they have a fleet being managed.

What were you saying again?

Listen young man, the point is not about synthetic oil.
Each car diagnosis is 10k,when he diagnose his car will he pay? No. That workmanship paid to mechanics, if you calculate it in a year, it might be up to 200k/300k
sometimes more, for his side, he is saving cost.

And also most mechanics are use to buying dead cars, because they can wake it back to better car.

I saw him post one old Corona, and he request 35k, that Corona market value can't be more than 500k.

And somebody will issue a check of 2M for a tokunbo corolla and the narrative is telling us to reduce more, that Ogunvic41 style is mmm.

I thought acting as a middleman with my own property with the thief @bodefakorede will give me result, unfortunately, that scammer has other intentions.

The driver knew I was fooling him, bc he saw the name on the car papers

So therefore go face ur middle man job.

Same thing they saw on mine too... but let me come n go do my middleman... or should I come middleman ur Own too

some of forget about quality of life of a driver that spends too much time on the job.

With time they will get burnt out.

Most drivers on the UBER and Taxify platforms do not have a spiritual life any more, Friday sat and Sundays are the most profitable days, and they are spent on the road.

Sustainability is key, keeping drivers happy doing what they do is important.

As I said earlier. A tired driver will go home to rest if he is on a flexible workable plan. A driver on a higher target will try to defy nature, and there are consequences.

A driver on a flexible workable plan will not work all through the night, he will pace himself.

this does not mean that there are drivers who will still take advantage of the lower weekly payments and decide to work like robots, but that's where the job of a fleet manager comes in, he monitors driver earnings, and the number of hours driver spends on the Job, and the times. If driver is given a corrola 2005 and he loves all nighters fleet manager will swap driver with a kia or a city reason is simple, he has lowered the risk of theft of the vehicle. no one will want to steal a rio or city.

There is more to fleet management than paying 50k a week.

I just remembered a case of a fraudulent driver, he signed up for an impossible target,
and guess what he did? He wakes up 5am, drives till 10pm and hands over the keys to his unemployed friend who drives from 10pm- 5am and pays a daily fee to him for use of the vehicle. Basically car never stopped working.

driver paid weekly payments with ease, owner was happy until........

Carshopper & Harbewilliams you don't need to advise investors, you turn investor yourself and when you invest, don't invest in dead cars, buy tokunbo cars, as dru23 does.

Then you can tell us more about the narratives.

Olesekeniwoye with all your earning more than owner, for couple of years you still never buy car, what a shame. You need to hussle more.

Is it paining you am earning more than my partner

Shame on you to think of a Car as An asset.

You drivers are use to bully, the agbero style, don't worry we are ready for you.

Go and sell your village land and buy a car. Then you offer it cheaper.

For your information, I drive my own car. I do only what is realistic cos I’ve realized that health is wealth.

I heard u saying driving 15hours daily will give 160k, I never knew u have a calculator for uber. My friend, pple wait in LEKKI for 90minutes now before request comes. It was never like dat before. The only days u get back to back requests now is on weekends. Stop sitting at d comfort of your home and be calculating what happens on d road. U base ur conclusions on what drivers post on nairaland, but what u don’t know is drivers won’t post d days they didn’t make enough.

That's where fleet management comes in. The major expense on a car is fueling and/or repairs/maintainance. There is nothing that can be done about the former. But to bring down costs on the latter, a fleet company should partner with a reputable workshop, sign an MOU, and get plenty waivers.

This is purely business. The workshop can bring down prices significantly because they are assured of constant patronage from the fleet, the fleet company is happy because they are getting lower downtimes (due to prompt repairs, remember they are partners), and they have significantly reduced their overhead by getting services at lower prices.

It's a win win: partner happy, car happy, driver happy, fleet company happy.

I keep seeing XX hours online making just 5 digit income on this thread and i'm not understanding. I have this mindset that i should get at least 2k for every hour i spend online hence 10k shouldn't take more than 5 hours to earn. That's where positioning comes in instead of just waiting for trip in the wrong places.
Then there's the issue of stable connection, drivers on Taxify should have wifi and its shouldn't be optional because once connection goes off you're OYO and customers don't give a hoot. That's how folks end up earning 2500 for a trip that should be at least 4500.

Uber has made it easy, if i'm going online on Uber, there has to be at least 1.2x surge to cushion their high 25% and I can know when and where to be just by checking promotion calendar.
Its also common knowledge that Taxify doesn't pay in traffic yet some folks in traffic prone areas insist on working only with Taxify while some in areas without surge also stick to just Uber. I'm not saying they won't break even but my point is they can make so much more with a little more planning.

It's a business, every driver should look to take advantage of all options and plan proper.

I like the fact that u guys are carrying out feasibility study. Another area u guys need to look into is how to scale out and handle growth when u kick off. Do you want to start with a few x amount of cars and gradually scale out or go big bang??

The more cars you have in your fleet the more difficult management gets. This is a reason companies fail, simply because they failed to plan ahead thereby biting more than they can chew. I am sure a lot of people are waiting for this to kick off because Gazzuzz is involved grin

My 2cents as a potential investor!

This ogunvic and Romeo issue reminds me of early last year when ponzi schemes was the in thing, put 20k get 40k in 2days.... To imagine they came here and made hardworking drivers like me and chilex look lazy, so many drivers are still bearing the brunt of their 50k weekly, some partners had to change clauses and some came up with shared maintainance ....in all they changed the game but in a wrong way..

They priced potential drivers out of the market and also looked like superstars while they were at it. Their main problem though was that they tried to grow too big too soon.

Nobody funds a startup with other people's money which is essentially a loan, for the same reason that banks never lend to startups. The higher percentage of new business are liable to fail, so don't be greedy or overambitious, always start small!

I remember someone on this thread after a brush-up with ogunvic, adviced him to get business education. . . .

You are stupid for the comments you posted, who are you to train drivers? Do you know some of the people you moles as drivers, some bachelors, masters degree holders ,even lawyers are among and they are so much better than you in intellectuals and everything.

When did you start driving on uber? Or when did you join as partner? Please partners should never underates drivers and drivers should be more sincere with their partners as well. I was one of the people that started posting uber adverts on this forum, and I knew how many partners have invested for on uber but to be candid the business is not like before. Drivers are not slaves and partners should also invest wisely in the business and don't listen to one Mr. Oguvic is posting on the forum, saying Bring Your Car and collect 50k weekly, it's all scam. I won't say more than that.

This thread once had lots of hardworking drivers like egbon chillex, romeo, ogunvic (the driver not d fleet manager), myself, blacklola and others, competing daily and weekly, motivating everybody but unfortunately, its been hijacked by lazy drivers that say 100k in a week is not achievable, that say you cannot work 14 hours a day ( how many hours do bankers work), that try to force their conditions on car owners (why u no get car). That say drivers cant earn more than car owners (i continously earned nore than car owners, till i got mine). Pleaee, if u cant do it, keep quiet amd stop demoralizong people. Davenoja, keep it up abeg.
