u should be ashamed of urself. Bloody lousy losers. The same people you betrayed, plundered and tried to suppress, just a couple of years later u are here on social media in direct competition of which they have surpassed u in every sense. U lost nothing during the war instead u went abt stealing and claiming spoils of war belonging to the igbo man yet look at today the igbo man's rise, beauty and accomplishments has reduced you people to angry, hateful animals. The truth hurts and cannot be hidden. Even Obasanjo ur kinsman made sure no port was built for the igbo man and it has been maintained till date . My question is what are u people afraid of? Why all the backyard scheming against igbos? Looking at ur people shamelessly trying to defend ur poverty stricken region reminds of the verse " the race is not for the swift" no be who start go finish first.

PMB just established a new command in Eniugu, Ground Training Command (GTC) with Headquarters in Enugu

In fact, the Nigerian Air Force just commissioned some housing projects in the AF base in Enugu.

You people don't know anything about your villages beyond hate, anger and bitterness.

[s]I see what you are saying, facts, data and logic doesn't support your flawed claims.

1. You can not claim any manner of recovery when in fact the money responsible for what you are claiming comes from outside your borders.

2. State budgets and IGR in the SE are some of the lowest in Nigeria so what recovery are you talking about? You mean recovery in terms of what? The economy or people's ability to build houses in their villages from funds made outside your states?

3. Taxes and healthy IGR are strong signs of strong economic activities and we are yet to see so massive or decent growth in any of the SE states which is even a reflection of their inability to undertake any decent or strategic infrastructure renewal.

4. Paying taxes is a civic responsibility, not something that you revolt against as citizens and the last thing any government should entertain when it comes to people's civic obligations like taxes because they need taxes to build infrastructures, create jobs and create the same recovery you are claiming.

5. Right now, the folks building the village houses some are showing off in this thread and passing off as recovery are paying taxes in other states, they are helping in the economic recovery and activities in other states, not their own states back home.

6. Where is the sense and wisdom in refusing and rebelling against taxes in your own state while gladly paying the same taxes in other states where you make your money and living from? It makes no sense.[/s]

Bank deposits made by your people making money in other states and sending their money to their villages to hide in their banks instead of investing their money to create jobs and to prevent your people from trooping to the SW for survival doesn't build, roads, bridges, hospitals or infrastructures hence the inability of your poor states to pass decent budgets or accumulate any meaningful IGR.

Sensible people are leveraging their money by investing, developing and creating jobs, but Igbos are here beating chest because they know how to send their money to their villages to hide inside bank...You people are shallow no be small... grin grin

A certain yoruba Muslim fool has been providing a comic relief in this thread. The fool formerly known as aresa claims he is from lagos but the reality is that he is ashamed of his oshogbo skull mining village. Aresa as he then was spends all his time on this forum venting his frustration on hard working igbos. The word igbo is a nightmare to him. Deomello get a life.

Osun State as Nigeria's second richest state

THE United Nations’ Global Multi-Dimensional Poverty Index which ranked Osun State as Nigeria’s second richest state has three measurements and 10 indicators used to evaluate Overall Poverty. Every measurement is similarly weighted; every indicator within a measurement is additionally weighted, and included. The index uses 10 indicators to measure poverty in three dimensions: education, health and living standards. The United Nations Global Multi- dimensional Poverty Index published a report on the poverty rate of Nigerian states that ranked Osun State as second richest state. This ranking is largely on account of the state’s massive investment in education.
