Good morning people,i need a fairly used graphics card to purchase, not necessarily a heavy duty one but it should just be able to handle decent games like pes14 and the likes,my laptop uses Intel GMA 950 integrated graphics, which isn't ideal for decent gaming in my opinion PC specs are HP Compaq nc6320,2gig RAM (will soon upgrade to 4gig when I've gotten a graphics card),2.00GHz core 2 duo On a norms,I'm looking forward to getting a better PC but for now, this is what I'm stuck with and I wanna make the best of it Preferred location Ilorin or Lagos Suggestions also will be highly appreciated Thanks Cc Sotall |

kodded: Hello. Before I proceed, I want to imagine 2 things 1. You've tried shaking, turning , setting the USB cable several times yet same result. 2. You've tried other ports, still the same issue I also want to imagine a 3rd 3. At one time the system brought up a "the USB device is not recognized" alert, after plugging in the device. You probably ignored since it did work afterwards. Hope I'm not getting in your head right now Of course there's a likelihood you might not have done 1 & 2. But No. 3 fit don happen but you no notice. Let's dive in. DRIVERS Drivers for the game pad are suppose to be auto installed (plug and play). But your system (after connecting to the internet ) must have tried to download an update. Now the poor laptop is trying to figure out which driver is for which device. Unfortunately, due to this conflict ,it turns out your laptop figures this out every 30 min -this is not a perfect explanation...I just want you to understand that something might not be right with the drivers. So, head over to device manager >under USB devices, find your game pad >right click then uninstall, make sure the box that says "uninstall diver software" is checked. Then restart your laptop. Now plug in the game pad. END OF LIFE If it works perfectly at this point (or if it doesn't), please plan on getting another game pad. That's how most external devices begin to fail. It usually starts with the system finding it hard to recognize. *cheers* |

kodded: ...and was always windows 10 during the times it worked perfectly? If yes, Your hardware(game pad) might be gone. You can try another game pad to be sure. If no, then going back to the previous OS might be worth considering. Don't forget to backup important stuff. *cheers* |

kodded: When you buy the USB game pad, it always come with a disc, inside the disc there is a driver you need to install before it can work properly. If you didn't see the disc, search for the pad name + driver online or take it back to where you buy it. Problem will be solve after that. |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by udemzyudex(m): 5:12am On Feb 27, 2018 |
kodded: Hmmm, you tried all the port same problem? There is USB port 2.0 and 3.0. The 2.0 drives automatically especially when on Windows 8,10 if you're still experiencing issues with all USB port then it might be a hardware problem. |

Ayomideen: Are you kidding me? I don't think so. You're using HP Compaq nc6320 and it is not a workstation. Upgrade to another laptop, just forget about getting a graphic card cos it won't work. |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by udemzyudex(m): 5:19am On Feb 27, 2018 |
blesszzy: Look for someone with exact system and test with his/her ba3 or take to where they sell laptop batteries, test with another ba3 to see if it will work fine. If you're still facing the same issue then it's definitely a motherboard problem. As for how to install a network adaptor you need the driver to make it work. |

therealMcCain: Vga problem, it can be resolved but honestly it won't last, the best solution is to get a motherboard. |

Dear engineers in the house, Please o, I noticed that anytime I connect my system to the internet, it gets extremely slow and keeps hanging. I cannot launch any of the browsers. It just seems like it's frozen. But after I disconnect my internet, everything return to normal. What can be the problem? |

Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by Nobody: 8:46am On Feb 27, 2018 |
horllamy: It used to be @ 4gb RAM system, but I think the last engineer who worked on it stole 2gb from it. It's just running on 2gb now. |

7agaza: Level: Easy [b] You will need to connect your charger to mains prior to test Restart the laptop and keep pressing f10 or other f key as per displayed start up menu during boot. You'll see bios blue screen. use your keyboard arrow keys to scroll to diagnostics or power management and run me a battery test to confirm battery status. Alternatively, download HP battery test and ensure is compatible with your windows version. Similarly, you could try another battery as per my colleague advice. Good luck |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by deji2009(m): 9:31am On Feb 27, 2018 |
udemzyudex: Yeap; moreover, it is not cost effective to get another graphics card. |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by deji2009(m): 9:42am On Feb 27, 2018 |
udemzyudex: I acknowledge Udem's previous advices. in addition, use google to get to device manager and look for universal serial bus controllers and click the + sign and right click everything with usb and click on properties for power management and uncheck allow this device to turn off to save power. If no joy after that take it to a repairer. Good luck |

sotall: So let's finally put this graphics card issue to rest. 1. Only desktop PCs have that flexibility to take in extra hard ware. For a laptop well the case is different! After managing to squeeze DVD +FAN+ ALL CABLES + BOARD into one small box that bearly has some tiny opening for ventilation, adding something extra would be a killer. 2. Certainly not nx6320. |

Qhal: Hi there, Try the following: ....and just before then check if time and date on your laptop is correct... 1. Hold down "CTRL+ALT+DEL" keys >this takes you to a menu >choose task manager >In the task manager > "View running tasks" , now end any program you don't need at that moment. Try launching your browser 2. Drivers: update the drivers for your Wi-Fi card. 3. Run a complete malware scan. I am sure you will find something. Let's go hardware a little: you might want to try another Wi-Fi adapter . you will need a technician if it isn't easily accessible. Also he/she can also troubleshoot other hardware too to be sure. Done? Still the same? There are a few other tricks like disabling the "dumprep.exe" , running "eventvwr.exe" and also running third party softwares. The issue is things become a little messier. So your best bet will be to re-install the OS...sadly *cheers* |

tallskinnyperv: Hello. Relax Let's hope it's not something big Can you access the RAM? If yes, take it out, clean with soft dry cloth then put it back. Bingo! As always, see a technician if you can't handle hardware. *cheers* |
