Thank you very much for your further explanation...
Meanwhile, i didn't have any stamp or visa of any countries in quotes...This forum has really helped me in many ways and i am now proud to be an advocate of "Visa profile must be truth"
Thanks

This sad part is that you needed a web forum to realize you should always tell the truth on visa applications. What’s worse is that this epiphany isn’t about your character and what is right, but out of fear of the consequences from governments who take the truth seriously. When it comes to Nigeria, you’d have zero problems telling lies and committing fraud I suppose.

ta , don't say that I have seen people that forged every and got a visa , what the VO looks in everything applicant is your appearance and how to respond to questions , normally they know all Nigerian would love to be in USA , so they take time to read your body language and your appearance not money or documents.

Kindly advice!!!

petemail2all:
I filled DS-160 as the primary applicant for my family but i missed the place of printing the application (as in details of what i filled so i can practice with it). I dont know if it will be an issue if i decide to fill the form again. I just want to be clear on things i filled. This applies to me as the primary applicant alone. Others are ok. Can i replace the DS-160 Confirmation Number on the appointment page? will this take effect immediately without affecting the appointment details? Thanks for your response

I feel i owe this thread my transcript as a silent reader. My visa was approved today as i was handed a white sheet and my passport was retained.
After greetings and pleasantries were exchanged, He asked for my passport
Vo: Where are you going in the USA?
Me: Washington DC, i wanna take a holiday
Vo: How long?
Me: 5 days
Vo: What do you do?
Me: I work as ** for **
Vo: What is your job description
Me: Proceeded to explain my job
Vo: How do you conduct from the beginning ** (relating to the job)
Me: I explained and gave more insight on the job without giving away any company secret ‘I’m sorry I can’t give you more details as it is an innovative project first in Nigeria’
Vo: What countries have you been to?
Me: Morrocco, Turkey and Msc in USA
Vo: USA or Uk? *chuckles* as he was checking my old passports for the above country visas
Me: I’m sorry, Uk *chuckles*
Vo: Are you single
Me: Yes
Vo: Do you have any children?
Me: No
Vo: Handed me the white sheet and put my passport aside. ‘You’ll receive email or text for passport collection’.
Me: Thanks

The whole thing took about 5 mins, He didn’t ask me for any documents and I didn’t bring any along with me.
My question is can someone pick up my passport on my behalf?

HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY IN LIFE. You took part in an attempt to forge travel history and deceive the VO into granting you a visa, unless you are going to confess your forgery and throw yourself at the mercy of the US Authorities, I suggest you keep away from the US Embassy for life.

Seunemman077:

You are on course. Your POE will be Chicago, but as you have a flight ticket to your final destination you will be just fine.

johnpoko:

please don't misinform me. I booked a direct flight to Philly from Lagos and the flight has two stops, one at Doha and one at Chicago then the last connecting flight is from Chicago to Philly? what do you mean by if o love myself and I don't want to risk my visa. is it my fault that they gave me two stops? its not like I'm the one who chose to stop at Chicago.

Good set of advise there...however dont over eat before your flight with foods that can be toxic to your bele.
I and my friend once took a bottle of coke each about 2 hours to our flight and we suffered the whole flight and the transit airport with running stomache.

Seconded.

It is also his first time flying so he should watch out for air sickness. I threw up all through my first flight and my stomach felt like it was stuck in the air.

A letter of invitation is not needed to apply for a nonimmigrant tourist visa. If you do choose to bring a letter of invitation to your interview, please remember that it is not one of the factors that is used in determining whether to issue or deny a nonimmigrant tourist visa.

Required Documentation:
1.passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your period of stay in the United States, unless exempt.
2.The purpose of your trip;
3.Your intent to depart the United States after your trip. (Evidence of your employment and/or your family ties) please NOTE: this is very important!
4.Your ability to pay all costs of the trip.

1. The U.S. citizen sponsor, must file Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), with the USCIS office that serves the area where you live.
2. After USCIS approves the petition, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will give you a case number and send your petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your fiancé(e) lives.
3. The NVC will mail you a letter when it sends your fiancé(e) case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once you receive this letter, inform your fiancé(e) to take the below-listed actions to apply for a K-1 visa and prepare for the interview.

-Completed Form DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application
-Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for six months or more since.
-Medical examination
-Evidence of financial support (Form I-134, Affidavit of Support, may be requested)
-Evidence of relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e)

The consular officer may ask for additional information
