Morning people. I'm on Post-ITA but yet to submit my application (71 days left to submit my application). My wife gave birth two days ago here in the UK and I hope to apply for passport after naming. As it is not quite easy to get Nigeria passport here in the UK, is it possible to submit my application using maybe birth certificate number or passport application reference number in place of passport number and put a LOE explaining why I used that. Hoping that passport should be out before PPR. Also, a friend helped me to get my Nigeria PCC and he scanned it to me as JPEG file. Can I print out the PCC and then scan alongside my UK PCC to put in the PCC placeholder ? Your input will be appreciated. 1 Like |

jelmusboy: First, congratulations on your new bundle of joy No, you need the passport number, I don't think any other thing will suffice. Will it take more than 2 months to get the new passport? You are supposed to merge both PCCs and upload them as a single file. Convert the jpeg document to pdf and then merge it with your UK PCC which I assume is a PDF file. |

You need to give a bit more information. Why was your US visa revoked? were you also banned for a number of years?, etc |

Ethelia: I was not given a ban. But my visa was revoked cos I used B1/B2 visa for child birth and made use of some insurance during child birth. All that transpired at POE during my trip to birth my second child. After the immigration officer's explanation of my previous offences I was asked to withdrew my application to enter the US then and so my visa was also revoked. So do I have any positive stand in applying for Canadian residency? |

Maxxyfruit: Since none of us are IRCC agents, I don't think anyone can give you an authoritative answer on this. But personally, I don't think it will negatively impact the outcome of your application so long as you declare it upfront and in details (you will have to declare it anyway). The application will probably face a lot of scrutiny. Let others weigh in |

Something weird is happening on CIC Accounts. If you already have AOR and MEP do check your CIC Application account and share your observation. Seems they are moving people en mass to IP2. 3 Likes |
