I am not exactly sure of the best deal but I will advise you check Lenovo Tab 3 and 4 7" models, Huawei mediapad T3 7" models. Check other Lenovo and Huawei models too.
They are not the most powerful but they are definitely okay for the money and I would take them over not so popular brands.

My airtel sim cannot fit in to the sim one, would have done that.

Yes, you need root access to make it work. You actually can make it work without root if you have a custom recovery like TWRP flashed, but why flash TWRP without root?

Asking coz i don't think anyone on here has tested Gcam on that phone to see if there's a dramatic improvement. Rooting for Gcam might be unnecessary.

Those persons I believe, have a way of accessing your phone, you might consider using phone lock.

I have been using my Mi Max 2 and enjoying it pretty good.

But 3 days back i started having some screen issues. The screen is not broken but some parts of the screen is not responsive.. I can't click or tap what's on that particular part of the screen because it's not responding. I think I must have slept on tthe phone. Don't know if that could be the reason.

Please what to do or any good repair centers around? will appreciate.

Is the data connection set to sim 2? What do you mean by fixed?

Could be as a result of liquid /sweat or wrong charger. You might have to order and replace the screen if it persists. You should also consider changing the screen guard
