Just got an unconfirmed Info that the coperate governance index (also known as CG INDEX) of the Nigerian Stock Exchange have just added banking Stocks ACCESS BANK, UBA together with cement manufacturing coy LAFARGE WAPCO PLC to the NSE-PREMIUM BOARD.
...This should bring to 6 the total no of coys listed therein following the 1st of initial entrants of DANGOTE CEMENT, FIRST BANK AND ZENITH BANK.
My take is that this could very likely lead to an increased buying pressure on the new additions by investors with interest in well governed coys.
It might interest u to know that the NSE PREMIUM BOARD is assigned to companies with a good coperate governance rating by the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

My take is that this is a healthy move for ACCESS, UBA and LAFARGE WAPCO especially the banking sector once it does materialize.

If u were referring to the post above, then worry not my dear. ...for its CONFIRMED.
...and shall be implemented soon. wink cheesy

Is that Japaul @ 0.50 ? Something that was trading for 0.35 last week Tuesday shocked

Hmm

I have learnt not to envy people in buses like Japaul cos when the reversal starts, (and it will) it will go down the same way it came up grin

People will watch their gains erased followed by capital.

Just saw this on Nairametrics:

Japaul

This is perhaps one of the most notorious stocks in Nigeria. After luring investors at the height of the stock market bubble in 2008, the company also announced that it had agreed a financing deal worth $350 million with Milost Global. This came as a shock to most investors who are wondering if Japaul’s balance sheet was worth anything close to that amount.

Japaul’s 2017 9 Months results reveals that it has a negative equity of about N24.3 trillion. Its total assets is about N27 billion. One then wonders how they came up with $350 million worth of investments. If this deal pulls through, then it is very likely that Japaul will delist from the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Not a recommendation. DD is advised

The question is the role of SEC in this matter. I hope they are not just throwing figures in the air. What bank will receive this money? Japaul is owing Sterling Bank like no tomorrow no go come. I heard the staff have not received salaries for months now. Anyway wetin we sabi, no be so Costain, Afroil, Big Treat, Starcomms scam people for NSE and SEC just dey look dey share commissions all over the place.

My Oga there's no arguing the fact that this ur analysis makes for a sensible assumption.
However, it does have the weakness of assuming that the majority of players in the market are traders. ...that there are far more traders than investors.
...That to me, is a very dangerous assumption to make especially with a coy like AFPRUD.
'For the basis herein is slightly vitual'.

But in any case, u are still my Boss !! wink cheesy grin

I'm not in the stock and wouldn't be. Just saying that an equilibrium will be reached. The price i used are for example.

Given that its 52-week low is 2.20, and there's been a 57% growth in eps yoy, I think the stock can find a pretty strong support northwards of 3.00.
People would make reference to this strong support rather than just their entry price.

So it may not likely trade below 3.40 pre closure.

Some people are satisfied with 10% gain, some with 9%. Some even with 1%. This will help determine the equilibrium.

Good company though. But not in it.

I still remember UBA with their exceptional items. So anything related to it, man mi na 440 oooo.

There's also the added assumption that those selling now must have bought low.

On the contrary, those selling might have bought high and just cutting their losses to preserve capital.

(To the part in bold) imagine they couldn't sell and they keep pumping to escape.

Those who want to buy will keep waiting for it to bottom. Prices continue to fall.

Did you gauge market mood towards end of trading today? I doubt reversal is tomorrow. Bears might even storm across board tomorrow.

I have been wrong severally though.

Stop mentioning bear.

There is no more bear. It is just a blip! Though they both start with "B"

Good strategy !!
...but i'll advise u to be a bit more careful. ...for with a company like JAPAUL OIL, 'it is not uncommon to have a very rugged conductor who may hold and draw u right back in just when u had planed an attempt to quickly jump down the bus' smiley wink

Though things could later turn out good, but pls 'watch that ur bus conductor' and be very vigilant my dear.

Same goes out to all holders of JAPAUL OIL.

All the same, I wish u all a safe landing. ...Goodluck to u all !!
