DO U KNOW: The only significance difference between a normal LCD TV and a normal LED TV is just the BACKLIGHT and their weight ..N:B I am not talking about oled tv,3Dtv,4Ktve.t.c...for example lets look at lg products. the main difference between(LED) 32ln4900,32lh512a, e.t.c and (LCD)32ld460,37ld469-ta,42lf2500 and many more is just there backlight. Apart from their power consumption.. Even some normal LCD has d same or less power consumption compared to some LED TV....Apart from power d next thing most people look to is there special features which is mostly designed in their board. But I will tell u that some other LCD TV have d same or more features compared to LED TV.. I think apart from the differences listed above what most people will be thinking about now is d screen. but do u know that a single specific screen can function in both LCD and led tv..In other words most LCD and led make use of the same type of screen which can either be SAMSUNG screen or LG screen which are d most common type of screen found in all LG and SAMSUNG TV and most other brand of TV.. though their are other types of screen like Panasonic, sharpe.t.c but they are not common even in their own brand of TV....for example(Toshiba) 32hv19e, (sharp)lc-32a66m, (hisense)40d36pn, (Panasonic)th-l32b68k and others mostly consist of either LG or SAMSUNG normal screen...........

when looking at their backlight LCD TV make use of fluorescent bulb and an inverter which can be attached to d case of the tv separately or attached with d power board(power inverter)of the tv........
While LED TV make use of diode bulb(for example tourch bulb in lame man's term but they are different from tourch bulb just because of the type of voltage and current they make use of).n:b most led tv did not make use of inverter board only few of them make use of it and they are very different from LCD inverter board.even by u looking at them physically...
