hello.. good afternoon guys... my mini laptop was on hibernation then when i turned it on.. d screen was blank.. since then it has remained blank... pls help me... all oda laptop components re working
The RAM is probably bad. If you can open up the casing and access the RAM, do so. Remove it, clean it CAREFULLY and put it back in.
If that does not work, do a hard reset I.e
Remove the battery and charger. Long press the power key for 30 seconds or more to drain all static charges from the capacitor. Plug the charger in to test it. It should work. Then, it will display the normal BIOS screen. You can then reinsert your battery

If the above doesn't work, your RAM is either totally bad or the magnetic lid sensor is bad(the pc can't detect if it's lid is open or not, so the screen is off)

If any of the above works for you, make sure to deactivate the hibernate settings ASAP cheesy

Remove the ba3 and if you can access the ram remove it, discharge the laptop by holding power button down for like 10-15 sec.. Insert them back and power on.

Windows 8.1 will drive it automatically.. You can right click on the WiFi and click on troubleshoot to detect the problem.

I'm suspecting a bad wifi card.

You're using HP Compaq nc6320 and it is not a workstation.

Hello.
If you just installed the OS, consider the following:
1. Install the required drivers- you may visit www.drp.su/en
There should be a Wi-Fi button on the keyboard or look out for it somewhere.

Don't also forget that your Wi-Fi will display "no network found" if indeed there are no networks around.

Once, when I was a novice, my Wi-Fi button showed red even while I toggled the switch. Guess what I did to my self when I discovered it was the absence of network grin.

2. If you have installed the required drivers and the issue persists, try another Wi-Fi card.

*hope this helps *

Hi there,

So, we have to be sure which is the issue- the laptop or the modem. Try the modem on another laptop.

Uninstall the program of the modem, then re-install the program. I think you should try this first

Let's have your feedback.

*cheers*

Hello, thanks for your reply. I have un-installed and reinstalled the modem program yet the issue persists.

I haven't tried it on another computer though.

Hello there,
Why should they?
If they did, it will be filled with technical jargon which makes the case kinda worse- cos' you'll want to try even the unknown grin

So first and foremost I'd spare you the jargon and tell you to try the following :

1. Some drives (flash drives, external hard drives) might be write protected. In other words, you can't copy to them. To be sure if your external drive isn't the issue, try copying from another system or try another storage device.

2.After trying No. 1 and it's still the same, you may want to perform system restore. System restore restores your system back to a time when it worked fine.
Here how to go about it>>>

On the start menu, search system restore >on the list of options that appears, click on "system restore " >follow through the prompts > when asked to choose a restore point choose an earlier date, probably the 2nd option on the list>> system restore once started cannot be stopped, so make sure your laptop is plugged to a power source.

The restore point is meant to erase many things that have to do with the "present" and take us to the "past" when things were fine.

If you feel you're gonna screw things up, give to someone a bit computer savvy... If you see what I mean.

By the way, is it a used laptop or new one?

*let's have your feed back *

it's a new one and have tried all ds before and de didn't solve d problem... I'm having a feeling of some policy changes or administrative settings makes the system behaving that way but I don't know exactly which one... Like they block the copy and paste or they removed the option, what I don't know is if the setting to remove the option ever exist.

The culprit is one application you recently installed or try to copy huge files at once and it block the copy and paste feature.

Look out for this application if you have them installed on your system, Skype and notepad ++.

If you have the above application, I'll advice you uninstall with revo uninstaller, and delete all remaining files and folders. Then you install back later.

You can also run task manager, check if RDP Clipboard manager is running, then kill the process.

If after all this and the copy paste option is not there, I'll advice you reload the operating system.

If i understand your post, you're trying to say that it powers on with the charger plug in but doesn't power on ba3 alone?

Remove the battery, plug the charger alone and power it on and see if it will on.

After that, remove the charger, insert only the ba3 and power it on to see if it will power on.

2. Insert the ba3, connect the charger and power it on, when it gets into desktop move the cursor to the ba3 indicator and see what is written there.

I want to know if it is plug in charging, plug in not charging or ba3 not detected.

Hi,
I thought we could avoid this, but hey, we have no choice. One more program you should uninstall is Adobe reader.

Hello

Sorry to tell you this- Get a computer technician to check the board.

I would have asked you to change the battery (an option you can try right now), but when I read that
the laptop powers by self on charger and does not power on battery, my thoughts swerved and a little.

Attend to the board now that you got the chance, not until when you get frequent black screen.

*cheers*
