Ezyp:

The schools you applied to, you must have downloaded their forms. Fill it/attach your passport photo if there is a need.

Thanks for reply. Must I apply for admission before certifying my documents? I thought it was certification first before applying for admission?

I don't have that yet and the requirement I saw on the embassy list didn't mention admission form. I need further classification of recent certification of documents at the embassy.

thanks chief for your kind response. I have one or two more question.

1) Does one option increase ones chances of getting the visa against the others and 2) If I decide to learn german, do I need to get the certifcate or the knowledge of the language is sufficient. ?

1) Not that I know of; people on this thread have gotten admission/visa with each of the above

2) Certificate

Good day to all the Bozz in the house, I have been following this trend for a while now, and it's time for me to apply. But I av few questions to ask Biko.

1. I checked for some few courses at daad and they are requesting for ielts or TOEFl from the schools, I dnt see anything like English proficiency letter from school of graduation for their English requirements. Please is the ielts compulsory? .

2. Can I notorize my documents in a law firm, or must I go to high court or German embassy?

3. Is it required to measure my school grades to their grade point with the help of any organization that does that or so before registering?

4. Lastly will be grateful if anyone can assist me with names of good schools in Germany that I can study masters in computer engineering or computer science , that have a better location for student environment and hustle...where things can be easy for Nigerians. Thanks.

I used zenith Bank.

Although ECOBANK, Unity Bank and first bank were also willing to do it for me, but they agreed after much persuasion and explanation.

The zenith Bank I ended up usung are conversant with funding blocked account through Form A, that's why I finally used them for me and my brother, and it was successful.

Open an account or use d account of a trusted person (friend, spouse, siblings, parents or relatives). It mustn't be ur personal account, but it must be through a zenith Bank account!

Bros before GERMAN EMBASSY will certify your document you must have the APPLICATION form of the school applied to. (Take note of the word I wrote APPLICATION and not admission form)

Chai, wise!!!!!!!!!!

I wish i could start the funding process all over, it would have saved me nothing less 500k.

Argh!!!!!!

donkafor:
I also used Zenith Bank last year and it worked very fine.
My application was at the Head Office and the transaction was sanctioned within 4 days.

While filling the form, account number/IBAN should be yours while Acc Name was the name of my school. grin

Hello house,
I want to certify my documents at the German embassy and have already booked an appointment.

Please, what's the form the I need to fill in addition to my credentials.

Secondly, will the 3 free set of documents certification be enough considering the fact that I'll be applying to multiple schools for admission.

Me too. I want to to certify my documents. But i want to wait for April so i can get my application forms ready. Most schools start application by april.

1. if your language of instruction is English. You don't nees TOEFL /IELTS. Some schls states it clearly on their requirements. If you can't find it, pls ensure you send them a mail. But most schls I've seen always state it.

2. I don't know of private law firms.. But it's usually High court or Embassy. Again, some schls specifically prefers embassy.

3. Whch one is organization? Never heard of that. You can cinvert your grades yourself. Not necessarily before registering, if your grades are required in German grade system, you'll have to convert it your sef. There is a formula for that. No need for organization.

4. mostly berlin, since it's the capital. Ionno ofnother places. Hannover, hamburg, bremen and ulm are nt bad.

If a school is requesting for it, then they're requesting for it! Asking here if it's compulsory will not change that as a requirement. The wise thing to do would be to mail/call the school explaining your situation and ask if this requirement can be waived for you!

2. Can I notorize my documents in a law firm, or must I go to high court or German embassy?
I think document certification is pretty much standard: high court, consulate/embassy or notary public

3. Is it required to measure my school grades to their grade point with the help of any organization that does that or so before registering?
This is difficult to follow. If you've been reading the thread like you claimed it should be evident already
