Zikist Movement Reacts To Ipob’s Accusations Against Zik by Nobody: 1:13pm On Mar 02, 2018 |
The Zikist Movement has reacted to accusations by the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, blaming Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe- popularly known as Zik of Africa- for Nigeria's present ills. Recall that in a recent statement, IPOB laid the problems of Nigeria squarely at the feet of Dr Azikiwe, blaming him for creating the country in the first place. But in a swift reaction, the Zikist Movement picked holes in that argument, stating that it was wrong to blame the present problems of Nigeria on Zik or his fellow founding fathers, rather than on the mistakes Nigerians being the beneficiaries have made and continue to make. The brief statement signed by the movement's President, Prince Charles Offokaja, and made available to newsmen reads: "It has come to the notice of the Zikist Movement that the Indigenous People Of Biafra organization, IPOB is blaming Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, the Zik of Africa, for Nigeria's ills. This is very wrong. "Zik and other founding fathers secured Nigeria's independence and built a nation that became the most populous black country on earth. "It is not their fault that we the beneficiaries of those gifts have so far misused them. What we should be doing now is to try pick up the pieces of what we broke and build a new, just and prosperous Nigeria: so that the labours of our heroes past shall never be in vain. "It shall be well with Nigeria if we make the right efforts. "Signed: Prince Charles Offokaja, "President, Zikist Movement" Source: http://zikistmovement.igbodefender.com/2018/03/02/zikist-movement-reacts-to-Igbos-accusations-against-zik-of-africa/ |

IPOB is just trying to turn Igbos against themselves to achieve God knows what. Soon I won't be surprised when we will hear that late Zik was an afonja or aboki and the miscreants would believe it |

You created a country of people of contrasting beliefs and opposing culture. the founding father refused to see the incompatibility of different ethnic nationality which has led to the present state of anarchy which has beclouded the contraption. |
