He is an important player for Gent but certainly not as important as Hazard is for Chelsea.

Imagine having another similar ability player like Onazi then, it would have made perfect sense, a like for like replacement would have actually kept us in that France tie.
Mujtahida:

Highly depleted bench. If we had gone with a strong bench who knows perhaps we would have gone far because tactically Keshi knew his onions but personnel wise he didn't get it right. Even with that team Argentina scraped a victory against us.

then sha we really didn't have as much quality players as we do now but Keshi drove past the junction in taking the likes of Uchebo and Ruben Gabriel to the WC.

He even gambled with Oshaniwa and Babatunde but at least those ones put up some acceptable level of performance.

Simon Moses is not on that level of importance for Gent. The figures of goals and assists attest to that. All those teams will struggle without their talisman. Simon Moses is not that for Gent,

Gent don't score as those teams don't compare gent to those team okay, gent is just an average or below average team, and mind you hazard don't score much goals nor much assist, hazard has never scored 20 premier league goal a season, his assist are also not much.

Good i think this is US 94 midfielders, now let us compared to WC bound 2018.

1.Okocha vs Mikel

Okocha 94 was not better than Mikel 2018.Mikel of 2018 is ahead of Okocha 94 based on experience

2.Oliseh vs Ndidi.

We have a better Ndidi than Oliseh of US 94 playing for Leige.Ndidi is going to WC as a solid player who is fast growing as one of the best.

3.Mutiu vs Onazi

Mutiu was not a regular at US 94 even behind young Okocha who even sat out in group matches at US 94 for Siasia,so i will not compared him with regular Onazi.

4.Oliha vs Ogu

Oliha and Ogu,well difficult to compare cos both are not regular but if we want to based it on Ogu last performance in GWG then Ogu have my nod.

Note I based it on US 94 vs 2018.

1. So, because Garba Lawal get experience pass Mbappe, he is better than Mbappe?

Besides, Okocha also had experience mixed with talent going to the world Cup in 1994 because he won the AFCON and was included in the team of the Tournament. What did Mikel Obi do this year?

2. Can you please explain why Ndidi is better than Oliseh going to the world Cup?

3. We are talking about prior to the world Cup, you are talking about regular in USA 1994.

However, Mutiu Adepoju was regular at the world cup and don't forget he was also regular at the AFCON we won in 1994. Can you compare him with Onazi of 2018?

4. If we go by your analogy in number 1, Thompson oliha is better based on experience.

Bros, you can't just be lopsided in your analyses. We must consider everything holistically. Experience, clubside performance, pedigree of league or club, National team and talent but you did was one sided.

Even with the level of Gent, Moses is not that important..

In fact, it can be argued that Kalu has performed better.

Samuel kalu is playing well and he is now a regular,Chelsea fans are quick to shout hazard but while Diego costa was there he is the most important player

Beautiful from Elder Sir Kog45 cheesy. Egbon Forgiveness did well in giving us the exact comparison matching but Elder Kog45 don break am down small for us....

He hammers on one solid point. 94 only vs '18 only. When, for instance, we look at Okocha of 94 vs Mikel of 2018 let us not allow the Okocha of later years between 1995 - 2006 to cone into that analysis. The analysis is strictly limited to 94 Hahahahahahahahaha.... and on this, Elder Kog45 is spot on. I agree with his analysis.

Egbon Forgiveness.... you try for the comparison matching. You are also spot on but Elder King Kog is right on the levels of the players in 94 vs players in 2018 in the midfield going to the WC.

Which level dem dey for this year?

Jay Jay Okocha was included on the team of CAF first eleven of the Tournament in 1994 AFCON. Is that one not experience?

Oliseh was already a AFCON champion and was a regular in a top 5 league in the World then. You can see the snapshot below to see his stats for three seasons before the world cup. No be the same experience wey sir Kog45 take drop Okocha for Mikel? Oliseh had them both on both fronts. At national level and club Football.

Mutiu Adepoju just won AFCON with Nigeria and was regular. What about at club level that same year? Can we compare with Onazi of 2018 going to the world Cup? Let us forget his form in 2014.

Thompson Oliha all the way.

Rohr Confirms – Carl Ikeme Back In Super Eagles Fold For World Cup Friendly Against England

March 2, 2018019

The goalkeepers crisis rocking the senior national team of Nigeria became an issue of concern to many Nigerians after first choice goalkeeper Carl Ikeme was diagnosed with Leukaemia.

Ikeme’s unfortunate diagnosis left the Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr with few options in the goalkeeping department, and after using Daniel Akpeyi for a while. Ikechukwu Ezenwa is now the first choice shot stopper of the team.

Ezenwa upstaged the Chippa United safe hands after injury ruled him out of Nigeria’s back to back World Cup 2018 Qualifiers tie against Cameroon in Uyo and Yaounde respectively.

Despite the performances of the duo Nigerians are still skeptical of their abilities, with many clamouring for Deportivo La Coruna B goalkeeper Francis Odinaka Uzoho to man the post at the World Cup.

Uzoho won the heart of many Nigerians with an impressive 45 minutes display in the Eagles 4-2 win over Argentina in a friendly game last year after his breakthrough at the LaLiga ‎, where he made three first team appearances.

Speaking in a BBC World Service programme monitored by Owngoalnigeria.com, Rohr confirmed that Ikeme will take the traditional kick off before Nigeria’s final World Cup 2018 friendly game against England.

It means he will once again be back in the Eagles fold for the first time since he was diagnosed with Leukaemia just before the start of pre season training at English Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
