My attention has been drawn to a Photoshop of the picture of Distinguished Senator Dr. Victor Umeh in rapt perusal of the senate proceeding mischievously cropped in a manner that depicts him as sleeping in the senate plenary.

However, these mischievous elements, most of whom are attached to underperforming senators who are rather rattled by the storming performance of a month old Senator Victor Umeh thereby unleashing media attacks and desperate propaganda to divert the attention of the public.

Therefore, the general public is by this information urged not to consider as near-fact nor any possible 'offense' by Senator Victor Umeh. "Offense" because the act of "sleeping legislator" is considered offensive, disgraceful and disappointing to the constituents whose interests are left unshielded at the point of the nap. Our dear senator was never asleep but reading through a paper in his hand and articulating for a possible positive action thereof.

Just as promised, Distinguished Senator Victor Umeh since his superlative entry into the senate has remained committed to ensuring that the good people of Anambra Central are well represented at every senate activity as well as using his good office to impact lives positively (as evident in his recent visit to Dei Dei timber market Abuja where he sympathised with victims of fire outbreak).

He did not sleep on duty in the 10 years of active service as APGA national chairman... he did not sleep during his legendary participation at the 2014 national conference, why will he sleep now??

Senator Umeh promised not to be a "sleeping senator" and he is awake to effect that. In less than two months, he has severally engaged the senate in an insightful debate to better performance and has evenly distributed /allotted constituency projects which shall soon become visible in the various communities in Anambra Central.

A first of its kind, Senator Victor Umeh is the first senator in Nigeria that has done so much in a little time.

When you receive the gibberish and the manipulated image, the best you should do is to discard properly and counsel the miscreant adequately.

There is no amount of propaganda capable of distracting Senator Victor Umeh from his duty of giving a reliable voice to ndị Anambra Central.

He wasn't sleeping this is just propaganda. He was reading from a paper he was holding before him. How can you be sleeping and still holding up a paper like that? The pictures below prove it.

Enemies of progress want to malign the person of Senator victor Umeh. He clearly wasn't sleeping as other commenters have proved above.
