It is built with a framework of containers and steel, finished with exceptionally patterned Stucco on the outside walls and POP walls on the inside. You should compare apples with apples. The OP is talking about a duplex. Sure you can do your analysis with a bungalow, but definitely not with a duplex.

Even 4m for a decent bungalow still depends a lot on your definition of "decent"

The only reason 12m works for a duplex is because it is a container house. Otherwise with the current cost of building materials and cost of doing a good foundation, you will end up spending far more if you go the route of traditional construction.

Conventional building of similar size will cost= 96m2 x 2 floors x 120,000= N23,000,000.
If this container house cost 12Million to build. I believe its an ingenious concept and should be given an opportunity. #Myview

12M can't build a 4bedroom duplex with all this features. Your analysis will only work in places/location where you have a solid ground(and not a raised floor). It can't work in water logged area, and where ground conditions aren't favourable. I have done a little research on container housing, I can tell you, it fits for all location and all ground conditions

been interested in these houses for some years. It is cheaper, only limit is imagination, more durable, burglar wise, it is safer, more spacious, more beautiful if you ask me.
