Aim4Dtop: it's not about the course you studied. rather about your work experience matching a job with NOC O, A or B. Apart from other eligibility criteria. So what's your work experience like people might be able to help you match it to the right NOC welcome to the party. 6 Likes |

Happy weekend People. Please I have a concern and I would like someone who has been in the same situation to advice me. My international passport will expire next year (2019)February and I have contacted passport office and was told I can only renew my passport 6 months to expiry which is August 2018.Now the issue is the express entry process requires you submit a passport with a shelf life above one year at the minimum. What are my options? Should I play safe and wait till August after I might have renewed my passport to enter the pool? or is there some other way? Thanks guys |

Thank you for your response. She has lived there as a student over 9 yrs and is awaiting the outcome around june/july. So i figured i could use that march-may to study n write IELTS in june n join d pool in July when the PR maybe confirmed. Im already sorting out WES just awaiting my school to send the transcripts. Your opinions please? Thank you Opotuniti: |

Good day guys. I have been following this trend for a while now(not religiously though) but I am yet to really understand how to begin the process. I am a 34 year old man who wish to migrate to Canada with my two kids and my wife. I am a mid-level officer with a federal government agency while my wife works with a state internal revenue service. While I am a graduate of English Studies, she did biochemistry. I need guide plsss |

luffyhaki: This isn't a problem. My passport was to expire in February and I used it to get ITA in January. Now I have a new passport and will submit my application with the new one (and copy of the old one). 2 Likes |

You can enter the pool, carry on with your process and renew Post ITA and Post PPR. It’s not a problem. I renewed after ITA(lost passport) but included and LOE. As long as you have documentation to prove the passport number disparities, you are good to go. There’s always a way to back up that luffyhaki: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by luffyhaki: 8:11am On Mar 04, 2018 |
Julie2018: Thank you for this Julie. But my real concern is if after post ITA is say May we are still not in August(when I can officially renew my passport). What do I then submit when I am asked to send my passport bearing in mind it should have a shelf life of at least 1 year. Remember you have a fixed number of days to send in your international passport once you are approved for PPR |

See if you can include it with your transcript which the school will send, thats what i did. If this isnt possible, you can fax it to them. Try not to forget indicating your reference number on the envelope and when you want to fax the documents to them. Good luck! askofemma: 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Nobody: 8:58am On Mar 04, 2018 |
Your problem is not a problem. Max it takes a week to renew your passport. You can renew at anytime either during your waiting for PPR period or when you are asked to send your passport. If you do the former raise a CSE. If it’s the latter, CIC will ask you for ADR with new passport so it doesn’t matter either way. Don’t delay jumping into the pool for a non-problem. luffyhaki: 3 Likes 1 Share |

Happy Sunday people, Please I will be processing my wife transcript tomorrow and From the information I gathered the school will be sending it directly. Now my concern is we registered with her married name and the result will carry her madien name! So which name will reflect on WES portal |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Merovingian: 12:00pm On Mar 04, 2018 |
On portal is FirstName MarriedName but on report printout the format is MarriedName (MaidenName), FirstName MiddleName. Provided you indicated to WES that you are married and name changed. Hope this clears your concern. askofemma: 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by justbazick: 1:19pm On Mar 04, 2018 |
askofemma: Wes will use the name you registered on their portal with and quote the name on the credentials but also mention "The name on one or more of the credentials submitted for evaluation differs from the name above" So you will need her change of name documents when submitting your application with cic. |

askofemma: Hello, Na only you waka come? All you just wanna do is ask questions and all are repeated questions. I read all your previous posts and I realized that you don't even bother to appreciate the efforts of people who give answers to your questions. Courtesy demands that you at least thank them because some do go out of their way to find answers to your questions. Secondly, kindly learn to use the search bar at the top of the Nairaland page to find answers to some of your questions. Anyway, Mcstan18 explained the steps to follow to send your documents via fax in this post. Regards. 23 Likes 2 Shares |

onyi888: First stop shouting... writing in caps sounds like shouting and isn't nice on our eyes. As has been mentioned many times on the thread, you can include other supporting documents such as employment letter, promotion letters, pay slips, awards, business cards, photographs, etc. Also include any official communication you received form your employer stating that he wont issue the letter in the required format. 8 Likes 2 Shares |
