This is my prefared World Cup list. And I'm sure that the actual one that will be released by Rohr won't be very defferent from it.

GOALKEEPERS: (in no particular order because its the only department that is very much up for ravish by any personnel. About Akpeyi, I still believe he will make the cut but not as first choice because of his exploits at club level. And he will likely get over his psychological issues and lack roof confidence wearing the green jersey)
Ezenwa, Uzoho, Akpeyi.

DEFENDERS: Ekong. Balogun. Awaziem. Shehu. Aina. Idowu. Omeruo. Ebuehi

MIDFIELDERs: Mikel. Ogu. Ndidi. Etebo. Onazi. Joel

FORWARDS: Iheanacho. Moses. Ighalo. S.Moses. Iwobi. Musa

I totally unassumed Joel Obi's injury concerns which earned him the inclusion, with his undisputed quality and how much potency that he brings to our midfield.

Onyekuru Is another talent worth mentioning but his present injury issue which could affect his impressive form and jeopardize his World Cup chances, coupled with his inability to impress Rohr when he was called upon ruled him out for me.
This your list is 98% correct.

To the detriment of which AM?
Loogan:

Box to box or left/right attacking midfielder. The position will enable him run like he likes to, attack, shoot and it would fit his defensive contribution. Thereby limiting his weakness in terms of creativity. With his recent performance he's improved on his creative side greatly. I would not rule him out of the AMF role, one bad game dosent mean he can't do it. He would prove doubters wrong like Awaziem.

Bros this list is nice,if I had to make my list it will be the same with yours, but I am just scared echiejile might get the nod over 1 defender there, those keeper you mentioned are the ones going to the World Cup with the mieldfielder and forwards,if dem like make dem debate for maduka okoye and alampasu, rohr will take those keeper you mentioned but I am still scared echiejile will make it.

Did you watch Etebo against against Barca?

Seriously I never took TheSuperNerd's gospel of Etebo (Man with 10 lungs) seriously until I saw his showing against Barca.

It is on this basis that I have come to believe he can cause problems to opponents by making them commit fouls against him.

Believe me Etebo has the energy that when properly channelled by the technical crew can cause a lot of problems to opponents.

The energy level wey Etebo get de learn for Iwobi side gringrin

So because etebo play well against Barca una don dey talk am 2 much, pray he should play like that everyday okay, etebo is not a bad player,no b the same etebo wey play qualifier? Nothing special bro, allow world cup reach,if the guy make small mistake na una go still insult am,las palmas Barcelona na normal game okay.

Are any of these guys better than the Yobo of past.

The fact we are considering below average players as our first choice tells us something is wrong with our football.

We just don't seem to have the quality we once use to have.

It's a case of, if the desirable is not available then the available becomes desirable.

You spoke fact bro, none of these guys are up to the level of yobo

Same player that some were already erasing from the WC list.

Some people will be fielding 11 different players each game if they were national team coaches.

Lol,like seriously he is going to the World Cup,I have never erased him,I have always put him as a bench player in the World Cup just as he was in the qualifiers, but the way Nigerians analyze at times dey piss me off, etebo played well against Barcelona is there any big deal there? He is meant to play that's why they got him,now Imagine brown ideye scores for Malaga next week against Barcelona, you will see people jumping to this thread, saying brown ideye must go to the World Cup that he scored against Messi and co,seriously I wonder how some peep watch football, this is the reason why many Nigerians coaches are failures.

As much as we all love to have some of our favorite players make the world cup list, the truth of the matter is: IT WON'T HAPPEN. Some will be picked while others dropped.

No matter how long the fans keep suggesting names to the coaching crew, the squad number can't and won't exceed the conventional 23 men.

What then is expected of us is to support the team and the coaching staffs irrespective of who is picked for the competition.

I was shocked when I saw a list of names compiled by a new moniker. He is right in his own way. He sees those players as the best. The final say lies with the coach.

If I'm to make selection of players going to the world cup, I'll pick the best 23 men along this:
3-GOALKEEPERS.
7-DEFENDERS.
6-MIDFIELDERS.
7-ATTACKERS.

But for the NFF and poor team handling, the Super Eagles crop of 2000s(2002-2010) could have achieved more.

A generation that had the likes of Yakubu, Utaka, Aghahowa, Martins, Kanu, Osaze, Ike Uche, Ogbuke in its forwards line

A defence of Taye Taiwo, Yobo, Nwanneri, Odiah, Babayaro

And a midfield collection of Okocha, Mikel, Lawal, Oruma, Obodo, Olofinjana, Ayila, Kalu Uche

And of course the goalkeeping trio of Enyeama, Ejide and Aiyenugba

90% of those players will walk straight into the current team.

Ezenwa first choice?honestly I would have say yes but anytime i remember Algeria match my mind shake, hope he has learn from it,against Angola he had good game.

I'm already doing that... I Just want to enjoy the tournament. The goalkeeping issues gives alot of headache...

Anything that happens, just that four years and rigour of qualification is not a joke. I can't believe we are in this current situation.

It is so saden.

We don't have any AM good enough to do the job apart from mikel, so he would not be affecting an AM but a DMF. Out of the DMs Agu looks the most likely to lose a place, etebo's dynamism is crucial.

In most African nations, anywhere your father is from, that is where you are from....any other English wey you wan talk, na you sabi grin

At least, you will have an understanding of how those foreign born players feel. Such an occurrence is not limited to FBs, there are many Nigerians having identity crisis because of all these migration stuff.

Lucky for me, I have never picked anything from Lagos or Abuja and there are just as many Igbo people in these places, unlike somewhere like Kogi.....I might not be deep into my Igbo heritage, but I still feel a kindred spirit with any Igbo person, plus, I don't see much difference between Igbos and Niger Deltans, maybe because of my roots.
Wow! Yours is one confusing soup of cultures. Fortunately for you, you only absorbed the Igbo part.

Well, my state of origin says Kogi, but don't get me wrong, I feel Igbo as well. At least I speak the one I learned from my parents. It doesn't help at all that they speak two completely different Enugu dialects. So for me, its a smattering of this, and a smattering of that, augmented with some central Igbo. So there's really no particular Igbo dialect I'm good at. Will still have to explore the Igbo part of me later

Mehn, these FB's dey try sha. Just imagine somebody like Balogun, racially abused by Germans and referred to as Oyibo in Naija
