Hello e-fams,

I am trying to setup my express entry profile but am getting this error on my education history section.

The site says "appendgrid" does not initialized

Has anyone experienced this before and how canit be resolved.

Note.

I have used two different browsers ( IE and Mozilla) all latest version.

You need to select "NO" in the tab where it is asked if you were awarded a Canadian degree. Your degree was not awarded in Canada

Once you select NO another question asks if your degree has been evaluated and by whom and there is provision for a reference number. sSave what you have done so far and refresh your page or completely log out and then in again

pls am sorry if this question seems vague, i just need more understanding as regards this double degree thing, for those of us applying with Msc, does it denote that evaluating the B.sc would make it a double degree in terms of claiming more points? I only evaluated my Msc made a mistake of not sending my Bsc.

Newmum0615:
Not at all. But it would definitely help to have a second degree like the PGD to add to the Bachelors degree to enable one get points for 2 or more certificates which is higher than what you'd get with just a bachelors.

MSc is your highest qualification, no need to evaluate your BSc at least not for this purpose. Two or more degrees is awarded for eg, BSc and PGD degrees and some other combinations. I suppose the points earned are not as high as points earned for Masters degree. Please I stand to be corrected o

Thank you, My husband has a degree in performing arts, 5years experience in customer care ,3 years experience in stock controlling, 2years experience and counting in management (he is currently the manager of a leading telecommunications in Nigeria) he has a management certificate with National institute of management (NIM), does this qualify him for the EE? and can he be the principal applicant?
I studied performing arts and I am self employed, I am into Events management no certificate aside my first degree...

As long as any of these work experiences fall into NOC 0, A or B, then he's eligible. I dunno much about NOCs but someone here should be able to help.
However, the fact that he's a manager in a top telecommunications company doesn't really matter one way or the other since "3 years or more" is what maxes out the experience score, so if any of the other two are in the skill level NOC 0, A or B then he'll be better off claiming the points from them, provided he's got access to request reference letters from them and were undertaken in the past 10 years.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Newmum0615: 9:11am On Mar 05, 2018
You should be the PA cos of your age. Is your husband writing IETLS too and would you have his Bsc evaluated as well? You woulda had more points if you both had master's degree or even just you as the PA. Please aim for higher than 8777 in IELTS if you can. You would get more points if you get for instance, 8.5 9 7.5 7.5. It's a tough call but not impossible. If all else fails, PNP would be another option. Good luck.

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Newmum0615: 9:26am On Mar 05, 2018
Several factors would determine his eligibility: Age, level of education, IELTS score, number of years of work experience, NOC under which his work experience falls, etc. After 3 years, He has already maxed out on his years of work experience. Next would be choosing the right NOC for any work experience that is three years and above or even at least one year. It should be NOC 0, A or B. Nothing stops you from being the PA with your self employment experience. Please read through the CIC website and also page 0 of this thread. You will be well informed after you do. Good luck.

I intend claiming work experience points to make my total work experience three years. My problem is getting the reference letter from my NYSC PPA. I served in Boki LGA in Cross River state and I am currently working at Delta State. How do I get the reference letter from my PPA? Please assist me, learned colleagues/elders. Thanks.

I don't think *966# will work. You need to get a mobile app
Going to the banking hall to make transfer payment for IELTS since I don't have a mobile app, is it advisable? I am contemplating doing this because I can't go to Benin with the bank draft cos of distance barrier for now. Please, elders advise.

Good morning my wonderful e family. Weldone all

I have invested my time in reading this thread
we have started this process by registering for our ielts exams

we have an issue
we calcuatated my Crs score with the highest Ielts score and I was at 405

This has made us sad
we are thinking of quitting

I have only Bsc with more than 10 years working experience I am 35 years old.

My husband is 38 he has PDG and also has more than 10 years working experience before he became self employed but his marks are also low

Hi there, Please do not be sad and do not give up. You and your spouse should write ielts and get the highest possible scores and also evaluate your degrees. Get in the pool and watch out for PNP opportunities. It will end in praise.

With a high score in IELTS.
Your CRS will increase.

Again, read about Provincial Nominee Program.
Don't be discouraged.

You've have started the process, don't renege.

It will end in praise.
