On your last point, a large number of building materials (including asbestos for roofing) are produced here. Materials that are imported are shipped in not flown in, aviation is importantly but not as important as other sectors. I bet you won't be saying aviation was the future if your favourite wasn't a trainee pilot.

In the days of our ancestors, they had farms but were still fishermen and hunters,dress makers and singers.

Ifu's dreams are displaced.
She wants to be a singer, a story writer, an actress, a talk host and many other things.
I've seen her sing, she's mediocre, I've seen her act, she's a passable actress, she's basically mediocre in every other thing except acting .
Now if she had a good talent manager, she would be asked to first concentrate on the area she's best and with time ,she can branch into others with time, she won't succeed in all, that's for certain but she could find success in some. My problem with her is that unlike miracle she didn't provide a time gap for hers, she's looking to take on all as soon as she leaves the house, which my sister spells doom!

As for most of the building materials being produced in Nigeria, this is downright laughable. Yes some rods, tiles are made in Nigeria but have you seen the quality of building these days, Nigeria is a country riddled with people with inferiority complex who think that having something rare inbreeds a special mix of class, and until that mentality is completely eradicated, people will keep importing materials from overseas, rather than investing on homemade products.

Aviation remains number one.
