kikuyu1: Composites is a generic term Different uses different formulation and specifications. Eg composites for armour cannot be used as composites for aircrafts. Different types of composites r developed for different types of uses. Those u can develop u will develop those u can't u will get them from others if possible rather than waste money and time developing the same. 2 Likes |

nemesis4u: When you get a good deal from Russia. Be rest assured it's a good deal. Since we have been dealing with America,France and Britain or even China. Has any of them ever proposed transfering technology to Nigeria ? It seems you dont know what the Steel agreement with Russia is about. It involves transfer of technology into our Economy ok. Please re-investigate first before typing. It helps. Russians are building massive projects with India, joint project for example Brymos is joint project supersonic carrier missile with india. We can do the same with Russia and name it your name Nemesis missile. This is how it works when you already have the transfer of technology.. It means we can in the future build more to the rest West african countries. That is how to grow. 5 Likes |

scully95: Firstly i never said anything specific to any country, am the last person to say anything without knowing anything especially if it involves a country/topic I don't know about. It gives me great pleasure to see countries break the boundaries of technology and science. It sets the pace for healthy competition rather than bow down to monopoly of the few. 2ndly read and read again to get the gist of what is posted by others. And please respect the opinions of others if u want them to respect urs. I will be more than happy if this deal Ur talking about comes to fruition. 3 Likes |

scully95: U added to Ur post later on So yes what u wrote now is a pragmatic and sensible way to develop Ur capabilities. But Ur wrong Russian never shared all the technology , becz then what is the need for them ? U will have to develop the technology which will be the replacement of the imported ones. It is a costly business but there is no other alternative. First step is always difficult then if u persist u will be definitely successful. Just remember nobody kills their golden goose and there is a price to be paid for everything. Another thing in order to negotiate for niche technology u will have to be in a bargaining position, this is possible only if u have either 1. Lots of money 2. Relevant technological capabilities urself, which if denied u can develop urself without any foreign help TOT is not end all solution , it depends on the local capabilities and the type of TOT package Ur getting. If it takes care of everything from trained manpower to setting up facilities to handholding throughout the entire cycle ie documentation to production then u got a very good deal. And for the nth time I have no business commenting between the affairs of 2 nations. All I gave was a generalized view which is not country specific. And more to do with the steel industry per se with respect to military applications. 6 Likes 1 Share |

nemesis4u: You should not expect Russia to share her latest nuclear powered cruise missile tech with us for example. That would be too much. But at least Russia can set up AK 47 factory in Nigeria in the future and we will use the steel or mill to produce set it up.(The same plan it proposed to Saudi Arabia recently) Just one example of the benefit. This is just one example of the benefits. It is unlimted what we will gain from the AjaOkuta Steel. We already have Still mills, like three. What we dont have is steel Plants. As ties go deep, we can do great projects together, even start space exploration. 1 Like |

@Scully95 let's say Ajaokuta steels is fully functional, how many metric tonnes of steel do you think it can produce annually. |
Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by scully95: 10:33pm On Mar 07, 2018 |
jteku:1.3 million tonnes of steel per year. Low but ok for a start. There is another big one with 7 plants in the delta region too.. If we have the transfer of technology, we should be able to build more to meet the Nigerian demand alone. They estimated Nigeria’s present steel production at about 300,000 tonnes per annum, while consumption, as shown by recent studies in 2010, is above 20 million tonnes per annum. Still far to meet demand but a good start is what we just need. |

nemesis4u: Its the square on his chest under the ammo pouches. Yep, its a small plate, but, it covers the things that would lead to an almost instant death. Gut wounds are usually not immediately fatal, you can survive for a couple of hours with a wound to the stomach if you stop the bleeding and it doesnt hit a major artery. 1 Like |

scully95: With 1.3mt annually why do you think we should be threat to NATO......China exports 46.8mt, Japan 37.1mt, Ukraine 23.0mt, Russia 17.1mt, south Korea 9.9mt follow by the EUROPEAN UNIOUN which just export 7.9mt, if we even start producing steel we will not even contain our domestic consumption not to talk of export. So how can we be a threat to NATO. 1 Like |

jteku: Let me look for a video that explains it more. if you know what Steel industry means for the military, then you will understand why AjaOkuta steel power is a threat to AFRICOM/NATO/Anglozionist empire. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDs3bbdpqec Start at mark 9:49 If for anything the Anglozionist empire is 100% against Russia and they cant control Russia. Aren't you current in what is going on around the world ? Japan is permanent Angloizoonist Puppet and it became one of those countries backing dollar since that Nuclear bomb dropped in hiroshima and nagasaki. Ukraine you mentioned just had its more pro Russian president removed to install Anglozionist permanent puppet petro porosheno which has earned Ukraine lossing donbass, Crimean P and Lugansk. Aren't you following. As it's now, Ukraine is being runned by NATO covertly against Russia an act of war. Even Ukraine has had its steel industry since the days of USSR before breaking after the 2nd world war. Sout Korea you mentioned is over permanent puppet to the Anglozionist west.. Please try to understand what is going on around the globe first. In Nigeria's case, it's different. The anglozionist empire does not control the Nigeria's economy, it does not control the Nigeria military either. this is one of the reason Nigeria having a steel they can't control become a threat to them as this will give military power to Nigeria. Putin has told the west to see a powerful Nigeria as partners but not as its colony from far distance. Please check my signature to understand anglozonist empire. it's now crystal clear that Boko haram was the plan they had for Nigeria to break it into parts so they can rule it better but it failed. So can Nigeria get Ajaokuta now since their plans failed. 2015 was the deadline again. We are in 2018 now ! 2 Likes 2 Shares |

[Exclusive] CEO of DEMFAS aerosystems talks to African Military Blog In an exclusive interview with African Military Blog, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr Fasasi Dayo of DEMFAS Aerosystem Nigeria spoke about the company’s prospects and activities. The Defense technological sector in Nigeria is still fledgling and underdeveloped. The major players being DICON, Proforce and now DEMFAS Aerosystems. With the current drive to buy “ Made-in-Nigeria” defence products, the Nigerian government rejuvenated its premier defense industry (DICON) and other agencies both government owned and private organisations saw the market potential and took the mantle. Such endeavors brought about the development of world class defense systems like the Proforce ARA MRAP, the Tsaigumi Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, Infantry Patrol Vehicle (IPV) and NNS Karaduwa. About DEMFAS Aerosystems Demfas Aerosystems is a Nigerian telecommunication equipment manufacturer. Although, we deal in Telecommunication equipment but our expertise isn’t limited to that. We are also into the development of U nmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV ). Demfas Aerosystems as an organization gives priority to providing technological solutions needed to influence development in Nigeria and beyond. We focus on innovative cutting edge technological capabilities, we will be providing technological solutions needed for the progress of the country both in military and civilian applications and this would be done by Nigerians. About the CEO I am Fasasi Tosin, an indigene of Oyo state. I am an Aerospacee ngineering student and I love meditating. Demfas Aerosystems was formed after a huge progress made from my self-researched projects. Actually, the project was to design an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and during the whole process, I visited some facilities in China to conduct some tests on my designs unfortunately, I couldn’t afford the design test cost. Undaunted, I decided on what I could do with the knowledge acquired during the course of my research so that is what led to the birth of our radio communication systems. I learnt a lot from school but less than twenty percent of my academic knowledge was implemented on Demfas Aerosystem’s products. During the course of my research, I learnt C programming and every single aspect needed to bring the radio communication system and RF jamming device into reality. The mission is simple and great. There are several Nigerians out there with the little opportunity that I have. I have been able to get some of them onboard into Demfas Aerosystems where some are also working on the UAV development. So the plan is to create an arena whereby Nigerians are the ones providing inno vative and cutting edge solutions out there to the world. The changing technological domain in Africa has forced DEMFAS Aerosystem to innovate and adapt. What is the current situation at DEMFAS Aerosystems?
