I think you should contact your bank and ask if your card has been activated for online payment....

I don’t think it matters who the letter is addressed to. You can used either of above.

Hello everyone.
I'm expecting my COS for a Tier 2 visa soon so I'm trying to make sure everything is in place before I commence my application.
My question is regarding visa payments and all such payments I will need to make in the course of my application.
What's the best method of payment from Nigeria? Do I need a domiciliary account?
I have Access and diamond bank visa cards and a first bank verve card. I've seen many referrals to GTB naira Master card, I also have a dormant GTB current account. Do I need to reactivate my GTB account or will I be okay with the active accounts I mentioned?
I paid for my UKNARIC application with my access bank visa card without any issues, is the ukvi payment platform in anyway similar to UKNARIC?
I know this issue has been treated somewhere on this thread but can't locate it.
Will also appreciate any other counsel regarding making payments to ukvi.
Thanks.

hello Gurus in the house.@justwise and others...thanks for the good work here.

I tried booking an appointment for me and wify at VI center, i discovered that there is extra charges of 80USD added to the 129USD for a standard visa which now result to 210USD. as for the ikeja application center, no extra charge attach.

Flight reservations is optional.
Yes being able to explain your budget breakdown in the cover letter shows that you have done your homework.

Okay so in the spirit of giving back.
We did a bugdet, from the cost of the flight and the flight # etc to how each day will be spent and how much to spend, to hotel, areas to walk to and areas to take the tube to etc. Make it simple. My friend's own did not exceed 2pages. We explained every kobo that entered and left the account. Proposed activities in UK etc. And she is single.

Priority application does not in way convey an expectation of a successful application.

Check www.onada.com. The UKVI uses their rate for international transaction.

The best method is to use a dormicillary debit card. Sometimes you could have issue with Naira debit card.

Hello house,

Please i need your help. I applied 15th Feb n got email that the application is ready for collection today and that i should come with the following:

1. My application checklist
2. Original copy of my ID

My issue is, aside 1. above, I dont have any valid ID at the moment, Only ID i have is the passport which is with them.

You don’t need to. Since the passport is yours and you have the submission slip. That’s all you need. ID cards are those collecting on behalf of the applicant.
