Just had a glance at your previous posts and could roughly notice quickly that your timing of your US embassy visits as per your visa application interview dates isn't likely sitting right. Just came back from SA you applied, again, just arrived from UAE you rushed to apply again. Yesterday it was conference purpose, today it's for visit with uncle, tomorrow is for cousin's graduation. You have really put in a lot of commendable efforts, but calm down, coming across as just doing this travels for nothing but getting a US visa. Sit back, visit the drawing table afresh, and re-strategize properly. Key in this in my opinion is that you should apply alone next time sha, or at most just you and your wife (at least it is now clear to them and on record that you have two kids having seen them with their eyes during your last interview, let your kids serve as extra tie).

By POROUS I meant it's almost sounding like someone else with minimal info can pick up one's passport without one's necessary approval unless stricter measures are actually in place already by DHL unknown to me. Still wondering though, my wife submitted my son's passport for Dropbox, I went to collect it (used my old "circled address" pick up paper) without showing ID, dunno how it was allowed, still find it difficult to believe it happened just like that. What am I missing @LadyGuiniveres and @Seyewest?

My interview is today 8th March, and i was turned back immediately they checked my ds-160. I was told it’s not the same with what they have on their system. I submitted my ds-160 form yesterday 7th March, and updated my appointment showing the two codes which are the same.
The man suggested i should reschedule another appointment and he gave me a slip like that. Does that mean am going to fill a a new ds-160 form and book another appointment entirely cuz they both have the same code. Kindly attend to my question please ASAP cuz my conference date is April 21..

Am not sure it's really safe to submit your ds 160 few hours to interview talkless of updating your profile 72hrs b4 intwrview and I think you should follow the instruction on the form you were given, fill another form/book another appointment asap too... many were turned back on Tuesday because of this confirmation number issue..

Same surname and the passport owner signature must tally with the form except in your case where it's a child.

You can't update your profile page the same day as your interview day.... it must be done 2-3 days before interview.

Strange, if @the bolded is correct, maybe there's a new development but this leaves me genuinely wondering. Just retrieve the DS160, create a new one and use the old to populate it, then fill in all the missing/unpopulated parts and submit. Reschedule your appointment ASAP, wait for the date assigned and then attend interview.

Hope this is Abuja sha? I doubt if you will get an early date for Lagos if this is Lagos you are talking of....

You don't get it... it's not the same because they've compiled the list 2 days before you decided to change the ds160 form. They will always go with their list so accept your mistake and fill another form and update it with your profile page and look for a convenient date for interview.
