Hello!

Thanks for your input.

Could have made your point without the sarcasm though (writing skills? I don't understand what you're about).

Rental won't cut it. Each to his own please (might sound cocky but the numbers never lie...mostly and I've run them).

I will get a Principal and very soon too.

To every other well meaning commentator, I'm not towing the rental path so kindly stay your comments relative to that (and if you can avoid throwing shades and/or insults at my person or intent, I'll be much obliged. Like I keep reiterating, no one is being forced to give heed to my senseless proposal).

Regards.

I need to bring out my notebook, pen and dictionary; and learn English (composition)

has any one noticed the GOKADA?
They are gradually gaining ground. I will like to invest if viable.

Everytime i see Pictures of this Taxify its like to flee all form of evil..i know you said uber has much more as well but am not so sure but what i know for sure is this everyone cannot operate at the same level but what you said is true drivers cannot sometimes sacrifice to make more and i will give an example...on monday morning i was headed to work .i put in destination trip of Victoria Island but knowing as usual there is 1.8- 2.0 surge coming to V.I and from Yaba where i spent the night till ikoyi no request and i kept being tempted to foray banana island which was having a map surge so i entered bourdillon and then saw that lekki was already on 2.0 but it appears i would have to sacrifice that N300 before i would get any request because Uber would not give you a request in lekki from ikoyi and vice versa ( i think..i may be wrong) cos of that toll fare anf so i quickly did a calculation of cost and saw that with 2.0 surge the extra detour would still profit me and eventually i got a 2.0 surge trip back to V.I and was paid 1300 after uber charge...not so many drivers i know would sacrifice that N300 they would rather hustle in ikoyi on zero surge...it not enough to know route or drive...one also needa to be smart...
spot on...my kind of driver ....

This is visual confirmation of perpetual foolishness in some taxify drivers in general.

Time is 6:09am and they have densely populated VI that is more of a commercial zone, than a residential. Pls who dem wan carry for VI by this time and where will they be going to?

Second picture is a residential zone spanning from 3rd roundabout that these dumb drivers have ignored. People here are trying to get out and get to work but the drivers to pick them up are all in VI, claiming "request no dey" " I no dey get request" "market is dull"

Market will continue to be dull for you and you no go ever get request as long as you choose to remain foolish. From chevron to VI is a little above 2000naira on taxify, but these drivers would claim they cant burn fuel or " I no for blow empty dey go chevron"... Pls, how much fuel will they blow to chevron and how much will they get in return?

your account will continue to remain empty until you change your strategy.
abeg make them continue I see them alot uber/taxify drivers waiting in their cars after I drop person 6:30am for vi some drivers are waiting for workers to resume and close so there can take them home grin meanwhile who no know go no...lekki - epe road in d mornings don mad so let some drivers wait in VI so that they can carry the riders we take to work...after closing

Hello, is it possible for a new rider’s rating to drop to 3.0 from 5.0 after the first two trips on taxify?
I had exactly same experience. For a newbie, it's so easy to gain or loose ratings.. Forget village people matter..

By default u are on 5 points..
1st rider gives you 2 points
2nd rider gives you 2 points

Total points 9
9/3 gives u 3points..

It happens to new drivers like myself mostly cos u don't really know Lagos roads well, thereby leading to more money lost by the riders which most likely affects how ure rated.. Sometimes u just have to appeal to them for better ratings.

Be nice always. When you open your booth, help put their loads/bring their loads out. If they got kids, be friendly with them. If they don't have change to give like 100 or 200 leave it for them. Before the end of the day some riders will dash you their change too....
