ekpotek thanks boss i want to apply for uk tourist visa and this is my first time. first of all i have an account opening balance of 4.2 and closing balance of 11.8 m but i don't have salary account i don't know if that won't be a barrier i have my cac certificate i registered last year and I've paid 45k for my personal income tax and business premises of 10k that makes it a total amount of 55k I've been to 2 dubai twice Nairobi once and Malaysia I'm busines man i have receipts of the goods I've been buying and all other business transaction I've done outside Nigeria what are my chances in securing the visa and how soon can i get an appointment and I'd love to apply for priority which would cost me extra 400usd since I'll be going to dubai in few days so I'll make an arrangement to book my ticket with emirates airline and I'll be going to Londong for just one week via dubai immediately after my business in dubai i don't even have an idea of how to go about it kindly put me through that's why i sent you a pm

The waiting time for first time applicant for UK visa is 15 working days. However, many have waited for months to get a decision. My advise is that it will be practically impossible to get a decision within days of applying as even dates for submission of documents are not easy to book. Priority should only be used in case of emergency or urgent business or medical related travel. If your reason does not fall into these categories, you application will be process as normal even though pay for priority. You can use you business account, if you are the sole owner and director after all it’s your money. If not, you will need the consent of other directors to use the bank account be it for a business or pleasure trip.

You don’t need to. Since the passport is yours and you have the submission slip. That’s all you need. ID cards are those collecting on behalf of the applicant.

Thanks very much. I am so grateful

hello Gurus in the house.@justwise and others...thanks for the good work here.

I tried booking an appointment for me and wify at VI center, i discovered that there is extra charges of 80USD added to the 129USD for a standard visa which now result to 210USD. as for the ikeja application center, no extra charge attach.

can someone pls explain this if they experienced same?

IV visa center attracts additional charge so you may have to use ikeja

7. Letter from HOD/ Coodinator stating I am a MSc student and i intend traveling after my first semester exams. (NEW)
8. My car documents if necessary
9. Tax Certificate
10. Any suggested documents
*** How can I show evidence of money received by company's I consult for.. e.g.. payment for website maintenance, website development, etc

**** money sent to my account by friends to buy IT stuff for them...

In total I have about 21 credits apart from my salary.
But from January 2018 i stopped using my Salary account for transactions, hope this wont be a problem again.

I need your advise please.

Thank you all

I will suggest that you post the refusal letter here and blank out person identified information.

1.Yes there will be because the ECO will focus mainly on your financial capabilities and your source of income.

2. It wil pose a problem if you don't explain the arrangement clearly.

3. You need to clearly explain that payment and the source, add as much paper evidence as you can to support your explanation.

4. Yes if you withhold the info.

Thanks and Ekpotekh

Hi All. I submitted my UK visit visa application (2years priority) at Ikeja . I was surprised to receive a mail from Sheffield that my application has been received by them. I thought all priority visit visas are treated in Lagos. Is this normal?

The ECO noticed that you only declared one source of income your salary in your application form, but your bank statement shows unexplained inflow which was not explained. If you have additional sources of income declare it in the application form and provide document to support it which you have listed. You can reapply and address the issue pointed out by the ECO.

Are all visa applications determined in Sheffield, if not, what is the criteria for what gets where and which ones are processed locally

Go ahead and provide the email and chats correspondences about the job engagement and payments. This will justified the inflows and your sources of additional income. The ECO will be happy to see these emails and it will rule out small small money lodgement.

Within TLS website there is a link to book a group appointment. This allows you to add the details for your wife by providing her application reference number. This will link the two applications for a single appointment.

Hello everybody, I am really grateful to you guys for this amazing platform. May God bless you all.

Please I have some issues as well.

I'm a 400 level Engineering student of University of Lagos.
We are obligated to do 6months industrial Training(Internship) second semester starting from may.

Due to the fact that my mum stays in UK and my brother is doing his masters there, I want to do my internship in uk, since accommodation or welfare might not be a problem.

But now, the problems I have now is i don't know how to go about it.

Please can anyone just give me a good advice.

My brother is ready to write me an invitation letter, but I still need to know the necessary steps required so as to guarantee my chances of doing my internship there.

Thanks in anticipation

If you have a resident permit for France. Then apply for a UK visit visa from France. All the information you need is on UKVI website.

I have started from the beginning, but it's a very long thread over 400 pages.
Which makes it difficult for me to get the necessary information.
The posts I've been seeing are not really related to my issue.
Could you please tag me to one, or just assist me?
