Chief,

Once you make up your mind to sell a stock and you end up selling, nothing like mistake. Provided the decision was yours and yours only.

If your plan is to re-enter later when it drops, then wait for it. Else, forget it and move on to other stocks. There will always be alternative. If not immediately, in due course.

Shikina.

may be you have reach your target on this stock since u bought 1st batch around N30.xx, if not i see no reason for selling Fmill @ N37 grin

you are volume trader anyway this N6 plus gain gives you above N12m on just your 1st batch buy of 2m unit so nothing do you

grin grin

Praying to be like him one day when I will have enough volume to sell at a margin of 1 Kobo and make 500 million in just one trade.

...and a loud voice was heard from the remotest part of the earth !!
A 'voice with a strong reverberation like that of a thunder strike'
A 'voice which signals the call with the very sweet tune of the next melody in play'
A call for the multitudes of men to immediately gather for the press conference at that renowned university !!
...where the keynote address that sprouts forth with plenty of financial gains is expected to be given.
...and the shrewd ones who found their way therein were seen heralding with happiness and an overwhelming joy that knows no bounds.
For Victory became a sure portion for the son of men who hastened to the call. ...while those who chose to procrastinate were seen gnashing their teeth in lamentations !!

@tritri, you should have no emotional attachment to a stock...I also sold albeit at N37.85...the stock will take a break, definitely, before it moves up..dont assume, it will continue its bullish run....you might decide to re-enter during this retracement...u remain the ceo of your portfolio.

Oh my dear, its not like that. ...dont get too upset- ok.
Now to answer ur question;
HONEYWELL FLOUR closed at N2.65 today. ...from my spread target analysis, I'll suggest u buy at any price btw N2.50-N2.55, for a likely 20-25% gain in the short term. ...otherwise buy and hold but with an eye on it, if ur in for the long term

Discl: I do not hold the stock for now.

NOTE: This is just a personal advise. DD is still advised pls.

Which one of his statement is finally calming you down? That he sold as well or that the stock might still retrace? No be the same thing I be try tell you.

I think (not entirely sure) part of your issue is not setting target when you bought the stock. To have a perfect plan, you should know your entry price, projected exit price and stop loss.

Else, you fit give yourself bp oooo. You can't sell your stock and then wait for someone else to convince you that you have made a mistake!

You see, this forum is a very busy one. Your perception that there are VIPs here is wrong. It only takes asking your questions in an abnormal, extraordinary or aggressive way to get answers immediately.
The aggressive method is what you just used now and you saw an ocean of responses immediately. Sometimes you can even mention names.
