I think we all need to calm down and find out the truth, Glo is a cooperate organisation and wouldn't lay off people without a reason, funny some people are already asking for adenuga's head, without even a press realease yet

I was affected too 122 married women

They have gone again, business is business, and it should be seen as successful, when your services is no longer needed in a company, you will be sacked, and a good characteristics of a good CEO is know when hire and fire.

You can't tell me that there's no married woman currently working in Glo, because I know some who are still there.

A report just got in now that there have been a massive job loss for all married women in Gloworld department of Globacom Nigeria Ltd today. This is a sad development as this implies that you're not expected to marry and bear children once you're an employee of the organization. I expect that the women rights organisation take this up worldwide to stop a reoccurrence in future. No compensation was paid to them even after working for close to fifteen years in the organization. This can only happen in naija.

Very sure very very sure these women must have done something. There are still married women in Glo right now. It’s not a crime to be married. Or maybe they were sacked for just sitting around and gossiping like women do lol. Either ways, let’s wait for a statement from Globacom please. Nobody should judge now. A punkass friend to d punkass adenuga went to gloworld in benin and because he did not find d female attendants there classy n attractive, he called his punkass friend to ask, ' na this kain women whey no fine u dey employ? ' (not in those exact words sha).

And d punkass adenuga decided to employ young classy chicks as customer care agents. So if ur surname have been changed because of marriage when u r in d system, bye bye. But if u r still single even if 50 yrs u r safe.

People are sacked when their services are no longer required, it is what it is. There's definitely a reason why they were sacked. We'll find out one day

Before we go all in with our usual jungle justice and media trial let us reason that there is incomplete information from the complainant. A company like Gloucestershire will not sack you and give you one month salary in lieu if that is not the terms you agreed to.
I do not agree with mass sacking of any gender especially without commensurate compensation, the company surely has reasons for this step and of course a legal team would have made sure it's the best available option.
Even Glo will not want to associate it's brand with inhuman treatment.

Glo had the right to terminate a job contract without a notice. All he needs is paying the workers off. Get that into ur skill job seekers..if you not comfortable with being sacked. Go create ur own job

Running away from a problem won't solve it.That said, but let us not forget that an employer reserves the right to terminate you - but you must be given all your accrued rights and benefits.Even the courts will not impose an employee on an unwilling employer.
